LOL. For old backpack rap dudes like myself, this is almost exactly like the Sole vs. El-P "battle". Sole dissed El and then El started his reply song ("Linda Tripp") with a voice recording of Sole saying how much he loves El's music and everything that El does. Sole had thought a completely stray/random line from El was about him and he jumped out the window with a diss track. Didn't reach out to El... just got in his, very fragile, emotions and began a battle w/ somebody well above his weight class. 25 years on... El-P is an active legend and, by contrast, you'd have to be REALLY deep into hip-hop to have any idea who Sole (or his crew) is/was. History may not repeat itself... but it DOES rhyme, I guess.

This is beautiful. Smooth as silk, right and tight. I love the chilled out confidence in your voice. It matches the track perfectly. I hope that you won't discount the electronic music makers out here, like me. I use Reason to make music. I don't have equipment like drum machines and midi controllers. I can't play a real instrument to save my own life. All I have is my computer, my mouse, Reason, and basic music theory. But I swear to you that I put my whole soul into creating and drawing music, making melodies and beats with my own mind and heart. I have been so, so blessed to even be able to make music of my own. If you can believe it, my journey started with MTV Music Generator for Playstation in 2000. It changed and saved my life and my feelings of worthlessness. I've made so many friends who have been amazed at what I could do with a simple video game and gave me better tools to better my sound and give me even more freedom to create. I will never, ever say that I'm worth listening to, as no one owes me their ears, but I want to be proud that I can make music, beautiful music, music that can touch someone, even if it is just a program and a mouse. Music is my life, and I would be nowhere without being able to express myself in some small way. Is that okay? Am I allowed to call what I do music at all?
