Leave in conditioner... Pureology... ummmm.... My hair looked better than ever but... within 12 hours of putting this on my hair, my lips started tingling like they were chapped, then I got a sour taste in my mouth and sore throat. This stuff doesn't just absorb into hair, it also easily transfers from hair to pillows and hands... same reaction I get to harsh bathroom cleaners. When I realized I was reacting to the new hair stuff, I immediately washed my hair and changed out my pillow cases. Back to my inexpensive drugstore leave-in conditioner until I find a non-reactive replacement.

This is really informative, buuuuuut has basically talked me out of buying an airbrush. I'm far too lazy and uncoordinated to be bothered mastering this. Thanks for saving me £40! 😂

I use hairitage play it cool heat protectant instead of redken heat protectant.. in your opinion, is hairitage just as good as redken?
@cocokacoo3543Сағат бұрын
Me, a naturally wavy gal, straight up wincing when he says to brush out the heat styled curls @11:08😅🤣I think this mainly works for people with utterly straight natural hair, but maybe not as much for anyone with slight wavy to curly natural hair. Can get away with running fingers or a wideee pick comb through it, but actually brushing it out would make mine fall out faster or just make it frizzy. Anyone else ditto on this?

Hello Chris, what do you think about the Renpure shampoo ? It’s a drugstore shampoo but rated excellent on Yuka.

I just realized I have no idea what my actual hair type is because, for most of my life, I thought I had fine hair. Now that I’ve learned how to properly care for it, I’m on day three without washing, and my hair isn’t even close to being greasy. I’m so curious to see how long it will last! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge-it’s been life-changing. I actually hope I will finally be able to have the hair of my dreams 🙏

I would like to go less washes per week, but I'm swimming every day, 1-2hour a day... Even if I'm wearing silicon cap thanks to the swimm movements a bit of a pool water will get into the cap and also when I work out my head is sweating so I end up with greesy wet hair 🫣🙄... Now I don't have thick hair anymore even though I'm using no heat and doing your tips... any tips in this scenario please?... Thank you

I can only find Redken 11 Low Hold in UK. My Dyson Airstrait only goes to 160c on Dry Mode (basically straightener mode). Is this fine or is there an alternative? We also don't have the Kenra one.

Could you make a video about the best way to care for greying hair? My hair was always thick and beautiful, now it's still somewhat thick, but coarse and dry. I always have a frazzled look due to a halo of frizz (I work in health care and am required to wear ponytails/buns.)

I have naturally good hair that grows long super easy so people love asking me how to grow their hair out. I started watching your videos so I could give an answer. One thing that I have noticed that I have told people to stop doing is peeling their hair! They will have these really long and bad split ends and can't grow their hair past their shoulders and what they do to deal with these split ends is grab both ends and pull them apart! Can someone please explain why this so terrible and no one should ever do that! It makes me cring so bad.

I noticed that in the westren society that they deal with every person as a bad person until they found the opposite, unlike the arabic (musilm) society, for example lets say u enter a taxi and he start meeting and then ask u where do you live. In usa u will call 911 u will say what he want from me, in arabs area its ok

I completely fried my hair by stripping it 2/3 times in two weeks with 40&50 prof developer! Try to go platinum did I mention my hair is thin. I practically cut my jar so short to keep the broken hair off. I gave up and my barber said to get your hair back use it’s a 10. I used it and with in a day my hair quit breaking off within a week it had grown and was starting to be soft and less melted. I use nothing else. My hair is healthy longer not as thin. I sometimes wash it everyday still using same product. I’m afraid to use anything else but I’m interested in your product and advice on it’s a 10.

As someone who spends a lot of time at the stables, my hair ends up with an equine 'aroma.' 😆 How do I remedy this if it's Day 1 hair (I have fine hair) and don't necessarily need to wash it because there's not any oils present, and it's too soon for dry shampoo? Also, how do I handle times of the year when I have to wash my hair more often because of extreme heat and dripping sweat? I live near Phoenix and still have outdoor chores in the intense heat. Thanks, Chris & Leslie!

I'm 6 feet tall and have hair down to the bottom of my butt. It used to be SO healthy, but since my son was born, it just hasn't fully recovered. It has thinned a bit, but i haven't gained a single inch of length since his birth in 2020. I wash my hair only once a week to 10 days and have hair oil that I use on the loose hair (an inch or two away from the root). I only do this when it gets washed. Should I be doing the oil daily? Does the mask go to the root, or only on the loose hair?
@ShirakoriMio20 сағат бұрын
1: Shampoo and Conditioner aren't enough for healthy hair. You need leave-in conditioner post showers (and hair oil) too. 2: Washing hair too early strips oils so go 3-4ish days between washes give or take depending on your scalp oiliness (and hair thickness). 3: Bleaching is extremely damaging, so go to a specialist that might be able to gradually bleach your hair to reduce (but not eliminate) damage.

I’m a chemist and been bleaching my own hair when it was a pixie and now it’s down to my waist. I’ve melted my hair before too by accident. Olaplex 1 & 2 are necessary for bleaching and coloring. I have the K18 mist but I save that for the aftercare with the mask when my hair was melting in my hands like a rubbery mess. Only K18 healed my damaged melted hair back to perfection. Olaplex couldn’t save it. After a few uses of K18, it was pretty strong and normal again. One thing I’m not seeing in the comments about the texture thing about K18 is heat. It does feel funny if you use too much but if I do a blow out or some heat styling, the heat forces the product into the cortex and my hair is softer and smoother and the style lasts all week. I skip heat protection on purpose because I have the K18 in my hair & it works better with the heat. I bought their oil too and I love it. I never go without hair oil. I can skip the K18 treatment mask since it’s healed but never hair oil. I use the oil after the hair mask and go right in with styling. The treatment mask is good for routine maintenance. I have the Olaplex hair oil too but it’s more silicone than oil so I’m not really a fan. Never buying it again after my bottle is done. I hate silicones in my skincare & hair. My hair is now 2/3 light silver with 1/3 black roots (looks like a great balayage because it’s grown out) and my bleached hair is like 90% back to healthy. It’ll never be perfect like my black virgin Asian hair but it’s so close it’s imperceivable. I live by K18. Olaplex for bleaching & coloring. I do have Redken’s acid bonding line too but not that new product. I wasn’t impressed. Redken’s Extreme Bleach Recovery Lamellar Treatment is the best out of ALL their products. I’m curious about that Bonding Treatment but I’m ok without it.
