My favorite speakers! We visited the Yamaha Innovation Road museum in Hamamatsu, Japan. They have grand pianos costing multiples of NS 5000. But there is also a display of NS 5000 cut open and disassembled. Signage says the speaker was by a team of young engineers. It also displays the zylon (carbon fiber) driver material in different manufacturing stages. The woofer coil is literally one pound of copper. The back wave dampers look like tumble generators. As you peruse the museum vou notice the exhaustive research (world's largest musical instrument maker) in resonance with wood in violins, guitars, pianos, etc. Hence NS 5000's mitered joint plywood construction is deliberate. Few names at any price point can match the research, resources, buying power, and pro audio ubiquity behind this speaker with its drivers all of the same material. It is not for flea watt amps. $15K is real money. Do your own research.

Exceptional sunet. Cel mai bun pe care l am auzit pana acum. Aceste boxe sunt de pe alta planeta...extraordinar realismul ,rafinamentul si emotia pe care aceste incinte le expun. Dar sa nu uitam si de restul sistemului....ceva de vis. Asa ceva...mai rar. Felicitari celor care s au ocupat de toate detaliile pentru a obtine un sunet venit parca din alta lume...🙂.

Deoarece am avut ocazia să ascult aceste boxe în mai multe sesiuni de audiției și pe diferite genuri muzicale, doresc să menționez următoarele : Cu o tehnologie dezvoltată de inginerii de la Marten, boxele Parker Duo Diamond excelează la toate capitolele și prezintă o tehnică de balans perfectă. Nimic nu iese din cadru, totul este controlat oferind un sunet foarte natural. Cu o ușurință debordantă aceste boxe reușesc în totalitate să reconstruiască sunetul la fel ca în viața reală. Cu aceste boxe beneficiezi de sesiuni cu totul speciale de ascultare a muzicii. 🤠

I do love Yamaha gear I have to admit, especially their speakers, but I don't £8,000 love 'em! But this seems to be the new trend, Wilson, Audio, Magico, Focal, and to a lesser degree Dynaudio and B&W all getting in on the - "How much can I charge, for an average sounding bookshelf speaker?" - game!
