I just picked of the 02-05 aluminum calipers! I appreciate this info so much since I’m rebuilding my 06 xl! I did grab the brake lines too, just because the steel caliper ones looked a little short.

What is the part number on the third shock @7:10? I recently pulled a 2WD 8.5” 10 bolt from a junkyard S10 (lucky find) , and it has the third shock / hop shock. I’d love to find a replacement as the junkyard one seems worn out

600 at the wheels back then. We just changed the top half of the engine and put on a ported blower and at 800 rwhp now

Yup went to RWD. It was around 4200 lbs then if I remember right. DA was a few hindered feet +.

I'm about to start building my trailblazer for offroading. It's a tb LS, vortec 4200 but I'll be turboing it at some point. What parts would you recommend I use for the front end control arm components, so it doesn't hit my tires? I was looking at a 2007 f150 knuckle, Silverado ucas, and my stock lcas, but I'm limited by the shock arms. What do you think? I know this isn't related but figured you may know. I just bought a 2007 CTS-V 6 speed at auction for 2400 that I'm thinking about drifting lol. It was a non-runner, they must have thought it was blowing up when the starter went out, I don't blame them after as much noise as the harmonic balancer and water pump were making once I got it running!

You’ll need the shorter brackets off a regular short trailblazer so it matches the v6 camaro rotor diameter

It is sharp. But for a truck being used as a truck. Plus adding the price point. To me, you just can't beat the TBSS and if you start leaning towards more hot rod than truck, say a turbo or Is super charger. The TBSS 799 and only a 90mm can do 1000hp no problem. And on the street Having more torque and horsepower up to 4800. Means y the time the hi dollar starts to shine, the Scrimmage is over. But look wise, 🤤

you dont need to pull the torsion keys out to remove that transmission. pull both driveshafts, one crossmember, starter, converter bolts, bellhousing bolts, cooler lines, wiring , PRNDL switch, drop down.

Transfer case hits the torsion crossmember way before you can slide the whole trans/transfer case back enough to do a converter swap. Sure you can leave the converter in the trans and take the whole assembly out at an extreme angle after you suck the fluid out but that isn’t at all what we were doing here lol. Slide back, swap converter, slide back in

ruined a truck that they made about 1103 of in that color. that is a very sought after color for the SS. lots of potential buyers. should have bought a regular 1500 for parts.

Hey this bravada caliper is it from the 6 lug late model gmt350 right? There is an s10 bravada also - that might be same caliper ?or not? ?

Gmt360 yup. The Bravada calipers are aluminum but since they are older they brake line port is in a little different place. I’ve heard feedback that the Envoy Denali calipers are also aluminum with the same location brake line port as the TBSS.
