Everyone seems to misunderstand the 10 years. If it took them 10 years for one way how did they come back? Its 10 years total. so you can say 5 years a way. given the way back would not to take so long and its even shorter. then you saw frieren's way to travel till now. 6 months by the old woman, 3+ months clearing the beach. now 1 year form the total time but not traveling. sure maybe they stayed not so long every time but you get the point. 10 years include traveling both ways, fighting or helping a town, resting, maybe take not the straight route but left and right for other towns on the way.

This series makes me proud to be that kid from the 90s who watched Xmen every Saturday and got all the toys.

The female characters shine the most in the final arc. Shinobu is weak due to her size but she’s very very fast which makes her lethal to 90% of the demons because before they know it they have so much poison in them that they’re dead. Shinobu is the “weakest” hashira but she still clears tengen due to her speed. Mitsuri shines in the sword-smith andvillage arc. But kanao shines in the infinity castle arc for me. She’s had slow but steady steps in development and it all comes together for the end

When I first watched season 3 I really enjoyed it, and I still do really like it but now that I've re-watched it a few times I realized how garbage the pacing is :'( It just kinda feels all over the place, especially with how they would cut back and forth between each fight kinda sporadically and at weird moments, also the fact that it's super stretched out. Like a ton of people mention how long Muichiro is in the water prison for, but literally it's just the pacing making it seem so much longer than it actually was. Like yeah he was in there longer than a normal person could have been but this seemed to make it look like he was stuck in there for like 3 episodes where in reality he was probably only stuck in there for 15 minutes. Also it does a horrible job showing how the fights are going on at around the same time. It makes it feel like all of it is not happening at about the same times.

Idk imo the art style isn't that unique. It's just very well animated and occasionally uses interesting shots/angles. The art style itself looks pretty standard anime. The line work is a little lighter than typical, but the overall look is very standard imo. That is not a criticism in any way. I am just saying it doesn't look like it took foreign (to Japanese) inspiration to me.
