Sadly for the audio enthusiast , they don't know that Horns create an abundant amount of DISTORTION! Direct sound, interferes with the sound that bounces OFF the horn...As everybody knows the reflection of a soundwave changes de phase , and because the direct wave and the bounced one , has different paths , there are delays that creates Comb filters, that is ripples on the frequency response! A megaphone is the clear example that sound changes on a Horn...

Your horn is not dynamically changing and like a bugle that can make a few specific notes nothing in between. Maybe painting them different colors help.

snake oil for snobs, fractionally better that a pair of speakers costing 1/10th the price, just like a rolex watch. sound is subjective, listen to a stadium band and it's all over the place, over amplified, it's loud but of piss poor quality, the fact that your hero is on stage is why you forget this. everyones hearing is different but when you spend 20k you force yourself to like it..

I have a modified pair of LaScala's that sound fabulous. Horns are the only way to hear what music should sound like. I am sure these are great speakers, just out of my price range.
