Prefer the Nanco Daija, this one is just more expensive because the brand is well known but in component are the same however Nanco is more customizable.

Could you do a sound comparison on how they sound mounted in an arcade stick? I'm trying to eliminate the gate thunking noise within my stick with a drop in lever replacement

I opened mine today and noticed there was a rattling inside and there was a screw just floating around. Can't seem to find where it goes. Hope it's not too important...

It’s a typical case of “if it’s not broken, why fix it.” It’s not an upgrade to a perfectly fine JLF but if ,like me after 8 years, you have a faulty JLF , then get a JLX. I recently ordered a JLX with a 2lb tension spring for my Razer Panthera

Just got my son one for his 14th birthday. He's been hitting Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade nearby and requested a fight stick for his birthday and I had to get him the best one. Because of you guys. Thanks Y'all

With the hori, the shoulder buttons are too close together which causes accidental button presses; unless you have teenee tiny hands.

You’ll have to let us know!
@ShaolinPhrase187Ай бұрын
@@ButtonClubFGC Thanks for the reply and I have tested my own theory and yes you can play southpaw it’s not as comfortable and you have remember movement is backwards but it is possible. I asked because I am a fighting game enthusiast, also because I am looking for the best possible stick to improve my play reasons being is because of my disability it makes it a little difficult to use a traditional stick

Hated the diagonal inputs on the Hori and the dpad has a sharp edge to it, making it uncomfortable and inaccurate for me right out of the gate
@waynehiggins7950Ай бұрын
Interesting, I find the octa dpad to be probably the most comfortable dpad I've ever used. If it was more reliable I wouldn't have replaced it with the BFG. I wish hori made a pro version of the octa, with no dpad issues or at least let us swap it out easy.
@NYG5Ай бұрын
@@waynehiggins7950 it had the potential to make reliable inputs, and I liked the mouse click buttons, but the dpad was too stiff and was never reliable for me. The 8bit do Sega Saturn style controller has been the most reliable pad for me, on par with dual shock 4, maybe better. I can actually light dash into EWGF with it until my old hands and brain start getting tired, and it's only about $35 dollars

You can change the artwork on the Hori without unscrewing anything there are 2 points at the top of the stick to remove the plexi
@ButtonClubFGCАй бұрын
That is incorrect as stars on focus attacks website “Hori Alpha has its own panel. Once buttons, joystick lever washer and balltop are removed, you can replace the original artwork with your custom artwork.”

Al final del vídeo no pude entender si la última palanca tenía una zona muerta más amplia por el actuador o si la zona muerta para marcar movimientos era más chica 😬
@ButtonClubFGCАй бұрын
The dead zone was smaller because of the larger actuator, but I felt it was too sensitive because it was right on the switches.
@Swolecat17Ай бұрын
I prefer BFG just wish it had haptic/force feedback especially for fighting games
@DieserEnoАй бұрын
what y do if the bfg has stick drift? you have to buy a new one cause you cant get the samples alone
@waynehiggins7950Ай бұрын
You can buy the hall effect upgrade now I believe, which should eliminate drift entirely. If you're just using it for fighting games then drift wouldn't really be an issue.
@danielhernanalonso72192 ай бұрын
Late but the issue of repeated buttons can be fixed with victrix app, that allows you to separate fightpad r1 and r2 from actual r1 and r2 button, making them completely independent.

I still don't understand why they discontinued the original fighting commander. It was great, relatively cheap, compact and had a great dpad. Also, given how great betop thorn's circular dpad is, the updated fighting commander from hori could've just been the same product with a swappable dpad. I feel like they missed out on making the perfect fightpad, which is just the original fighting commander with a few tweaks
@Snook19852 ай бұрын
I really want this but I cant see this being $400-$500. Ive paid up to $300 across a few fight sticks from ps2 era until now. I cannot think of the reason why I would spend an extra $100-$200 for this one.
@MistyKathrine2 ай бұрын
LEOBOG Greywood switches are really popular in Asia, they are a quality brand, so I wouldn't think they would be an issue, it's really just a preference thing and if you don't like them, it's easy to switch them for something else.
