Can you give me the measurements of each bamboo that you used and the measurement of the final part that you made with wood?

Beginner means something different in woodworking. I am a beginner, been going for a year and my next purchase will be a table saw. After I buy the table saw I will still be a beginner and I’ll try some of this joinery. The video was correctly titled.

In trained hands this is more effective than many actual firearms at stopping things. An English Longbow even more so. Not legal for hunting in the UK but Americans don't have that restriction. Wild hogs are a source of meat for hunters in some states.

We didn't see how to cut the inner sides of that dovetail in the final project. I expect that a handsaw was used (at an angle so as not to cut through) but it would have been good to see it. Otherwise, this was pretty good to see all the steps. I'm on a handtool bender, but it's still good to see.

Thanks for the advice. It’s appreciated. Back in the day you used to be able to learn stuff first hand by doing an evening class at a local college. All that’s gone now
