Lovely bike indeed, and I love that the controllers are integrated in the bottom of the frame and that the rack is a wrap around one piece, that maybe adds to the stability of a bike’s ride, I wish I would’ve waited and bought this bike instead of this Wibble Wobble bike that only feels a little more stable after the headset has been changed to some stiff no bearing headset that to me didn’t fix the problem.

You guys ever consider doing a hard tail with similar motor and battery systems? As I've commented before on a couple of your videos I'm a big guy, so the rear shock is something that makes me pause from buying any of these bikes. It ends up being wasted weight as I usually just lock it out because if I don't it bottoms out if I take big hits. Also with my size the "wobble" gets notably worse (for others reading this please note: this is true of mountain bikes from major bike manufacturers, not just ebikes). I tried full suspension pedal bikes and have ended up riding hard tails simply because all of the full suspension stuff is too flexible because of the rear shock linkage. I'm currently riding an XL sized Juiced Ripcurrent S, but that one has so many proprietary components that I can see the future being tough for updates/upgrades with them out of business. Love that frame i have to say, wish the electrical system was a bit more generic. Have to admit, if i ever see an ebike manufacturer with a 20 or 21 inch hard tail frame with similar motor and battery configuration, I'm going to buy it.
@EscapeElectricBikes4 күн бұрын
We can do away hard tail if you prefer no rear suspension. Our previous bikes were all hard tails. I can check to see if they can do more than a 19-inch frame, and I will let you know as soon as I get a confirmation. How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?

@@EscapeElectricBikes I'm 6'7" around 280-285lbs. I'm one of those long leg short torso tall guys, so 36.5" inseam (bike inseam). My "daily driver" bike is a custom built Soma Jawbone in 65cm. It's honestly the first bike that has ever fit me. I don't expect I'd need, or even want, an ebike that big. That being said, I do tend to ride the current ebike in the lowest pedal assist mode a lot. And then I ride it to work and it's going as fast as it can, lol. Overall I'd say my tendency is to ride my ebike like I ride my regular bikes. Torque sensor is a must in other words. Interested to hear what you find out. Thanks!

Still waiting on confirmation for this. Would be nice. Manufacture only recommends this while off-road use such as steep grade climbing only because it will change the in sync tire rotation and not recommended on hard surfaces. We recommend keeping the power set at the same percentage on hard surfaces. Example 20% front-20% rear 100% front- 100% rear. You will still have the toggle switch to choose front wheel drive only, rear wheel drive only, or all wheel drive.

Absolutely! Our bikes are built with a lot of power and torque capable of tackling all sorts of terrain and recommended for mainly off-road use. Many use our bikes for hunting, camping, as well as trail riding, etc. Our bikes are also capable of towing a larger amount of weight needed due to the extra power provided by our bikes. They can be ridden on the roadway, but I do advise everyone to check with their state law’s first and foremost. All of our bikes come set at 20 mph and if unlocked, those will be held responsible. We also ask for everyone riding any electric bike to where a helmet and ride with respect to others, especially on trails or roadways. Our bikes are capable of keeping up with traffic if state laws were to ever start making people register all electric bikes. Thank you for your comment.😊

@EscapeElectricBikes6 күн бұрын
Dual motors are only dangerous if you ride them that way. I've been riding dual motors for a while and love the torque provided by both motors, especially pulling my daughter up steeper grade hills in her bike trailer. These bikes are not meant to go 40 plus miles per hour on pavement as well as off-road. These are meant for getting you through rough hilly terrain and used by those who love to hunt or live in a very hilly area. I also don't recommend throttling dual motors into a turn. It also makes a huge difference with how they are tuned. Ours are tuned to being easy off the start to keep the wheels from spinning while throttling. We are adding a feature to all our dual motors now to where you can choose the amount of power you would like per motor. As far as the potted hole wheels. They are lighter and have a bit of flex, which will allow for decompression and less likely to be damaged from direct impact, like hitting a curb, etc.

@petetoemmes6673 Hello, and thank you for your comment. These bikes are offered in torque, cadence, or both. The full programmable display will allow you to set the motors to the percentage of output you would like for the motors. This will give you the amount of torque delivered to the motors by adjusting this function. Our engineers are working on and testing the ability to change the motors separately as well. I am waiting on confirmation for this function, and I will update our website as soon as I get the results.😊

Solid bike, I don't like dual motors as front drive can be kinda hairy when turning under acceleration. It would be nice if you offered a mid-drive option as well. I'm almost ready to buy but was hoping to drive to your location in Ga and pickup a regular Outlaw once they are in stock for immediate delivery.
@EscapeElectricBikes9 күн бұрын
All of our dual motors will come with the full programmable display which will allow you to tone down the torque so it won’t be so aggressive when throttling especially into turns. I myself haven’t experienced any issues going into turns with any of our dual motors. We do offer the dual motors with BlackCat tires as well. They are the same tires as Allscape, just a different name, same manufacturer. These will grip better than the Kenda tires while riding on pavement. Definitely come visit us when these bikes arrive. 😊

You've mention "wobble" in a couple videos now. Let me start by saying: I'm a larger rider (tall AND big) and from experience I can confidently say EVERY bike wobbles. The "wobble" is a result of three things: weight distribution, bike geometry, and frame stiffness (the last two being closely related for obvious reasons). This particular frame style is going to have "wobble" basically baked in because you are loading the rear of the bike with weight, you have a VERY short head tube, and you have a rear shock linkage which negatively affects frame stiffness. EVERY bike like this will have "wobble". What you can do is try to mitigate it as much as possible. Adding a Hellbender will help. another thing to consider: adding a fourth bolt to the rear shock linkage behind the seat tube. The Wired Predator does that. I just watched a video about the new E-Cells Dual Star. That bike had an added brace across the top of the rear shock linkage. Both do that because the largest reason for flex is that very linkage, so they are attempting to stiffen it up. End result being reduced wobble. Of course, since this is something I've basically dealt with for the last 35 years since I reached "full grown" I can tell everyone there is a 100% effective method for completely eliminating "wobble" : KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE BARS.
@EscapeElectricBikes10 күн бұрын
You are 100% correct. I was on the phone with Cane Creek today, and we discussed a lot of what you have mentioned. Stiffness in the frame shock can help, and the linkage will be addressed as well with our manufacturer. We will also be sending the hellbenders to our manufacturer so they can be installed in every bike pre-ordered. This will definitely make a huge difference. I do agree with you on another thing. Keep your hands on the handlebars. Thanks for the feedback.😊

Sounds to me like you have been hearing from a lot of people who cancelled their Ecells orders..I should know. I 'm one of them! That goofball at Ecells keeps coming out with new bikes. Yet he can't fulfill the orders he 's got! He also made promises in writing on his website that he had No intentions of keeping. His main excuse for the inability to fulfill orders in a timely matter was that he provided too many options on his bikes. I hope for Goodness Sake you aren't gonna fall into that situation. Because I'm waiting to see what your Step-Thur version is gonna look like! Hopefully you truly are dealing with quality companies. NO offence to the Chinese, but in my experience they will promise you anything to get American dollars. Best Wishes! and fingers crossed I will order soon!
@EscapeElectricBikes13 күн бұрын
I have heard stories in regards to this situation. I would never tell anyone that they can expect their bike in two months which I’ve seen companies doing. This is why we have pushed the date out till April which is a pretty accurate timeframe. This is mainly because we have added a new frame to the orders. We would never push early dates just to get someone to do a Pre-order with us. I have noticed other companies saying if you pre-order with them, expect delivery of their bike by February. This is impossible because China has a holiday for 2 weeks in January which will delay production as well. I will say that we’ve been using our manufacturer for a while now and they have been very good with the production and quality of our bikes. We have sold a lot of our bikes and we haven’t had one customer complaint or problems with their bikes other than one we had to send a new display to because he had bent a pin. I want to also add that I spent 3 years talking to many manufactures before we decided to go with our manufacture. You are right though, American money is very valuable in China and if they want to continue getting that valuable American money, they know they have to build bikes to my standards or they could lose my business. What gives me comfort and makes me feel positive about our manufacture is, they have been building bikes for a while now and the engineers will tell me what will work and what won’t work because they know that they will have to send me warranty parts to cover their mistakes. Going back to companies saying they can’t meet the dates told is probably more due to giving inaccurate early turnaround time dates and not because of options. We do appreciate your feedback and great info. Thank you for your comment 😊
