All Outlaw bikes come with the smaller bright LED headlight except the Outlaw Max. The max comes with a dual crown fork with adjustable air suspension and a larger LED front headlight.

great review and they are both nice bikes but listen before you fire people up and they go out and buy one of these bikes or other why can you not mention the bike laws for a moment to assist people in buying the right legal bike I think I would make it simple here and just mention one part of the law that says it all the federal and most statelaws now say no bikes on public roads with a motor over 750 watts does that make any of these bikes illegal I think so. you see ebikes came along a while back and well lawenforcement did not really check on bikes much and in the beginning they were 250 350 500 and a few 750 and the law said 750 watts then because no one was checking they beefed up the motors to sell more why people wanted to go faster and faster and what the heck the police are not checking right well it is different now California has just finished writing the new bike laws and very soon it will be law and the 750 max will be in it and states will take there hard work and copy it and because the bikes are all over they are now checking my friend the other day got stopped got a hefty fine and was told to register it and get a M license if wanted to get back on the road it is like the 49cc moped scooter law that has been around for 50 years over 49cc you register the bike and need a M license and we all obey that law no problem and it is enforced the same thing is happening to ebikes the 1000 watt bikes and up will just go to class 4 witch requires a bike to be registered and you need a M license just like the 49cc scooter law. so at the least mention in your review the check your local and state laws before you buy if you get into an accident god forbid and your bike is over 750 watts you are screwed and liable they will fine you and depending take your money so buy legal ride safe and have a blast as I do riding my legal ebike and wave to the cops

@EscapeElectricBikes - Thanks for a nice Q&A. Do you have any documentation that can be shared and/or video that goes over the custom programming that will be available on the new versions of your bikes? I'm interested in what actual customization will be available and what it looks like on the screen. Thanks!

Hey Mark, You can visit our website, and you will be able to see the display in the pictures when you choose a bike to look at. It will allow you to set the percentage in each pedal assist level. Our dual motors, you will be able to set the percentage to each motor.

You can go under each bike in the pictures to see what the display looks like. The display will allow you to set the percentage of power for each pedal assist level, and for our dual motors, you will be able to set each motor percentage separately.
the army green bike is huge and look heavily built for extreme purposes

They are definitely beefy bikes. These are 17.5-inch frames. I always ask people's height when they ask for a 19-inch frame because Shaq could probably fit on it. 😂

Lovely bike indeed, and I love that the controllers are integrated in the bottom of the frame and that the rack is a wrap around one piece, that maybe adds to the stability of a bike’s ride, I wish I would’ve waited and bought this bike instead of this Wibble Wobble bike that only feels a little more stable after the headset has been changed to some stiff no bearing headset that to me didn’t fix the problem.
@EscapeElectricBikesАй бұрын
Thank you. We love the cleaner look for the placement of the controller and the dual battery balancer.😊

You guys ever consider doing a hard tail with similar motor and battery systems? As I've commented before on a couple of your videos I'm a big guy, so the rear shock is something that makes me pause from buying any of these bikes. It ends up being wasted weight as I usually just lock it out because if I don't it bottoms out if I take big hits. Also with my size the "wobble" gets notably worse (for others reading this please note: this is true of mountain bikes from major bike manufacturers, not just ebikes). I tried full suspension pedal bikes and have ended up riding hard tails simply because all of the full suspension stuff is too flexible because of the rear shock linkage. I'm currently riding an XL sized Juiced Ripcurrent S, but that one has so many proprietary components that I can see the future being tough for updates/upgrades with them out of business. Love that frame i have to say, wish the electrical system was a bit more generic. Have to admit, if i ever see an ebike manufacturer with a 20 or 21 inch hard tail frame with similar motor and battery configuration, I'm going to buy it.
@EscapeElectricBikesАй бұрын
We can do away hard tail if you prefer no rear suspension. Our previous bikes were all hard tails. I can check to see if they can do more than a 19-inch frame, and I will let you know as soon as I get a confirmation. How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?

@@EscapeElectricBikes I'm 6'7" around 280-285lbs. I'm one of those long leg short torso tall guys, so 36.5" inseam (bike inseam). My "daily driver" bike is a custom built Soma Jawbone in 65cm. It's honestly the first bike that has ever fit me. I don't expect I'd need, or even want, an ebike that big. That being said, I do tend to ride the current ebike in the lowest pedal assist mode a lot. And then I ride it to work and it's going as fast as it can, lol. Overall I'd say my tendency is to ride my ebike like I ride my regular bikes. Torque sensor is a must in other words. Interested to hear what you find out. Thanks!
