I see you had a simalar passion for the heli’s as I did back in the day my friend lol, I too flew the Trex 600, 3 600’s nitros I loved them all smashed two of them rebuilt them then gave them up to follow drones, cheaper and a more sedate way of life 🤣🤣👍 great flying with your heli’s 👏👏👏👍

@@pete2109 yes Pete I had a big passion for heli's back in the days, I loved the building and flying and I had over 20 realy big crashes with them and after a few years and after spending way to much money on them I gave them up also😢 Once in a while I'm almost tempted to buy a small heli again but thankfully we have the Neo's and the avata's nowadays, gives me the same kick for less money and less stress😆. I love the fact that in this youtube era we can connect to people with the same hobbies! The other day my wife saw me watching a youtube video of a man flying his dji Neo with the goggles on and she said to me: " Look he is the same as you! Hahahahaha, guess i'm not alone!!

Incredible flying, I'm from the UK so sadly limited but just bought myself the Neo and goggles so going to give it a spin as soon as the weather improves.

Thank you! But it isn't that hard to fly, just easy on the throttle and just get a feel for it! You will love it, and if you want real good connection then install the FCC hack! Cheers!

Thank you, yes this is the Neo! It's a capable little drone considering it only costs 199, or 529 with goggles motion controller 3 and 3 batteries and charger. I have it in 1080/60 wich is the best setting for FPV flying. And although it isn't 4K I think the footage looks better.

@@irwan_rc2416 it's unedited right out of the Neo! You get the best quality if you're not in direct sunlight. It shouldn't be to dark either to have the best quality on the Neo.

I'm an old dude. Mid 50s. Makes me probably pretty risk adverse. 😂 I own a Mini 4 Pro, had a Mini 3 Pro (sold), apart from the M4P, i own an Avata 2 and a Neo, both Fly More packs. Here is my question - i really like rhe Motion Control 3. Something tells me that im real happy with my RC2 and MC3. Given tou have recently ventured into Manual, do you think its an absolute must? Cant see myself doing the Sim and making that decision ro trust myself over the tech of MC3 and RC2. I mean i feel so strongly i don't imagine i would enjoy when the power is all with me. I see too many crashes on my part in terrain this older body couldnt access ro retrieve my drone. So, do you think a Motion Controller 3 and an RC2 for MP4 and Avata 2/ Neo is enough? Weirdly i have the controller just think ill sell it unused. Was manual really that much more fun? Great content dude.

@@davidjkelly1160 Hello dude🙋🏼‍♂️ If you don't need it for some fpv shots that you can't make without flying in manual and if you enjoy the motion 3 (which I do!) Then don't get it. Although it can be fun, it's even more stressful to fly manual. I perfectly understand what you are saying, I will turn 50 in 2 weeks myself and feel more and more the need to just enjoy flying without to much stress or hassle. Cheers!

Had 'm wel uitproberen bij je. Was onzeker over de beeldkwaliteit en gisteren terug gebracht zonder de doos geopend te hebben.

@@19ab59 er is niks mis met de beeldkwaliteit, in FPV zet ik hem alleen op 1080p 60 fps anders is het beeld niet snel genoeg voor FPV. Als ik hem met de RC2 remote bestuur dan film ik op 4k30. Dat is prima voor de meesten als je betere FPV beelden wil dan moet je voor de avata 2 gaan.

@@19ab59 ik heb net even bij je videos gekeken! Ik denk dat de follow mode voor het fietsen iets beter werkt op de Neo dan op de hoover. Vooral na de nieuwe firmware updates schijnt dat nog weer beter te zijn. Ik heb het alleen nog niet getest.

@PRO-peller @PRO-peller ik durfde het niet aan en ben nogal kritisch en dat terwijl ik alleen maar op pc kijk en deel op Insta en YT. Zoals je denk ik kon zien heb ik zelf momenteel een HOVERAIR X1 Pro met name voor het fietsen. Maar als ik andere dingen wil filmen lijkt het vliegen met die goggles makkelijker.

@PRO-peller persoonlijk denk ik van niet, bovendien is de Hover opvouwbaar en ideaal voor mij in dat opzicht. Het gaat mij met name om de andere filmpjes in manual flight. Dat doe ik nu met de optionele joysticks die ik ervoor heb. Heb inmiddels wel alle video's van de Neo en Avata 2 gezien op YT 🤫

@@sinister4lyf in FPV the camera angles are fixed unless you use headtracking. If you use a normal remote controller then you can change camera angle with the wheel.

I know the Neo gets dragged for its camera, but this looks good to me, lol! I’m enjoying my little Neo in all its glory, no phone, w/ phone and with my RC-N3. FPV is my next frontier. Great video!

For "normal users" like the most of us the video quality is more than enough, this footage was in 1080p because it gives you 60 frames and is better for FPV. Today I received the RC2 remote controller, I want to use that for some 4k footage, I will make a 4k video in a few days!

I Think the motioncontroller 3 connects to the goggles N3 and the goggles connect to the little drone, but still impressive range and especially the penetration is very good so you can stay low behind obstacles even if they are further away. I must say that i'm in FCC mode though😮

I got the NEO first and then the Avata 2. Get a FPV Controller 3 and learn how to fly in manual, its soo much fun with the neo. Even more fun then Avata 2 because of the size. After you can fly in manual, you could also do the ham file to unlock the full power of that NEO :D

Yes, there is plenty of room in the goggles N3. If I compare these to the goggles2 I think these are much better, no adjustments to be made, better fit and better to see the screen inside the goggles. With the goggles 2 I could see the edges of the screen.

How was the motion controller? First impressions? Awkward? Nervous? lol I wanna buy the motion fly more package but always had a controller with my other drones so if I get the package I’m not sure whether I’ll get along with it?? That was a great bit of flying if that was your first flight!! 👏👏👍

The motion controller is great, you just got to take a little time to view the tutorial and start in beginner mode for 10 minutes, after that just go and fly in normal or sport mode as you like! It is easy to learn and remember that you gan always let go of the throttle stick and the Neo will stay in place. The first seconds may be a little nervous but as soon as you feel that its easy you will love it!!

And the good thing is that you can fly it as a normal drone also if you buy a normal controller, or if you like the fpv flying you can buy an avata 2 "drone only" because you already have your goggles and motioncontroller 3 🎉🎉🎉
