I left a like on this - now for my essay, as of recently I feel like we've reached a point where we're sacrificing our culture and rights for convenience, and while there was a time where having things be convenient was good I think we've finally hit the ceiling and are now starting to see the effects of pursuing it so much - with and companies endless greed sucking the world of it's heart and soul.People in modern life are more alone than ever and sadly do not know how to connect with one another as nobody is teaching them how - making the state of world affairs to seem grim even borderline hopeless but I feel like the resurgence of Physical Media has crafted a space for those people - and I hope they can keep such a space.I recently found a video website where there was just a dude showing off his game collection - nothing big or over the top just showing the video games he picked up that day and it took me back to the days of the old web where people would just do that - show off the additions to their collections. Simple yes but at the same time someone doing something as simple as that may lead others to try and do the same, then another, then another and before you know it a community has been built. A community where people are sharing what they've bought or snagged and express how happy they are to listen to or enjoy the music,game,or movie - one that if you play your cards right can be welcoming to those who sadly can't seem to find a place to reside socially allowing them to discover something they may just be passionate about and then they go on to share that passion with others.I can only hope that Physical Media continues to grow, as any boost it can get is only a good thing at this point. In regards to my recent experiences with some physical media - some time ago I found a bunch of old physical PS1/2 Games at the bottom of a box in the basement (Nuclear Strike, NASCAR '98, King of Fighters '99, Ms. Pacman Maze Madness, Real Pool, Spongebob Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, and Midnight Club Street Racing) and with some strings pulled I found they mostly still work (Spongebob is a bit iffy.) I wanted them back to justify our PS2 as before I found those we only had The Sims 2.Regardless I hope you all enjoy the stuff you have, and don't ever let them take your sense of community - that is more irreplaceable than the media itself.

Alarmo is honestly neat but it is kind of pointless compared to Pokemon Sleep since unlike Sleep there isn't really a gameplay aspect to it.

i feel like the only reason why some people hate alarmo is because they were expecting it to be the switch 2 or something just for them to be super disapointed as heck when they saw what it was actually for. seems like bad timing for something like this to be revealed like that
