@@420PeterGriffin camshaft & proper valve springs to accommodate the additional camshaft size. And to help keep pistons in one piece I will be gapping the rings for boost/nitrous!

210 is typically where the t stats are meant to keep these engines at.. 220-230 at idle isn’t the bad part, but at wide open throttle 220+ is probably not good , especially for a guy like me that likes to go a 1/4 mile on pump gas and 14-15 psi

Yes I actually weighed it at a local metal recycling company , on a drive on scale, I don’t think 2 aluminum cyl heads is going to lighten it up 200 lbs though, lol

@@Pinestreetperformance No it wont...but 2 aluminum heads...plastic intake, no steel clutch fan, 4th gen aluminum radiator vrs factory truck copper radiator, tubular headers vs cast iron manifolds... and prolly about 20-30 lbs of other misc removed useless wiring and brackets not needed will....im just saying , "lol"

The Jan’s converter was cheap and I can footbrake it to 3,000 and make plenty of boost without the tires trying to spin, I hurt it once and had to send it to him & he fixed it no questions asked, great guy to deal with

@@nathanielmackinnon6738 truck just went 11.3 118 mph recently at the dragstrip , on 12 psi. Turned it up to 14-15 and I was blowing out spark so I had to replace plugs & gap them tight , runs even better now

For how dirt cheap a cast wheel 78/75 is from VSR , I wouldn’t waste my time with a gt45 again. All around better turbo and has room to grow , they cap out at about 800 wheel HP..

@@Pinestreetperformance that’s what I’ve been looking at is the cast 78/75 because for awhile all I’ll be doing is running 93 octane hopefully seeing maybe 550-600whp. Later on I might go E and jump it up to 700-800hp but idk yet shall see

eBay, found someone parting out a running 2002 cr250R , bought the entire harness & components. It was expensive but gotta pay to play!!

Yes the bikes a riot on the top end ! I’ve been taking it out to my local MX track on days they allow atvs , even with stock suspension this bike handles amazing. And tons of power for the big tables !

The best carbs for those things in my opinion is the newer cr 38mm tmxx carb, the jetting is a little weird I believe I have 440 main and I think a 38 to 42 pilot on my 265. And what's cool about the tmxx is that it's completely rebuild, once the stock 250r carbs wear out, there junk. U might try to start with a 450 main and a 40 pilot, if u get that carb, but don't quote me.

Thank you, yes this ESR system is kick ass and it really shines in the mid range / top end. I believe the carb I have is an old air stryker 38mm , I seems to work good

He had a guy In Rhode Island build the car , from my understanding it’s a stock motor with porting done to the intake manifold , xonarotor 72 mm ball bearing , E85 obviously, turbo kit was 100% custom to his car.
