I don't know why but it really grinds my gears that this opening scene literally just uses the same intro music as the first Scream film. Like note for note. I do realise that Marco Beltrami scored both of them, but like he really compose something new then just using the same piece of music again?

Okay clips from this movie keep getting recommended to me so i decided to click this one and even without context this is fricken wild. Guess i know what im watching this weekend EDIT Okay I watched it... and yeah... that was... insane. Kinda loved it though, but I must say as a chef, i wasn't a fan of how they used food in the movie

Allie's inner monologue during this scene in the book novelization is really raw. She thinks about how it was ironic she wanted to be a doctor and was being mutilated by surgical tools. How there wasn't a single part of her mind that the pain didn't reach. The brief moments she had in the back of her mind when she saw the pictures of her friends, only to be pulled out of it by more levels of excruciating pain.
