Reading can be hard. Especially if it involves reading a short simple description for knowing what you’re talking about before you talk about it, located directly above where you talked about the thing that you didn’t bother to understand before you spoke about it. Thanks for the comment.

@@joecobb7153 he told me that the named creek in the video was not a creek. He is wrong. He could have avoided being wrong by simply reading the description or scrolling on, but he had to stop and make assertions about something he knew nothing about and couldn’t be bothered to take the time to understand. @@joecobb7153 scroll through the comments section and see how many people come on here full of condescension about a 30 second video of water. It’s always the same thing. “That isn’t a creek!”, and “That’s not a flash flood!”. The map of my city disagrees with their first assertion. My local news stations, CBS Morning, and the Weather Channel all disagree with the second. The description of the video takes about 1 minute to read and clears all of it up. But instead, I get one member of the peanut gallery after another commenting about the same thing and doing it in an entirely abrasive manner. Excuse me if I’m slightly abrasive in my response, but the keyboard warrior mentality that you are free to criticize everything and anything, including stuff you know nothing about, much less something as mundane as water, and expect not to be criticized back just doesn’t wash with me. The local new stations who ran the footage disagreed. When CBS Morning News picked up the footage and ran it they also had different ideas than you. When the Weather Channel then picked it up and ran the footage they also had different ideas than you. But who knows? Maybe you are right. Maybe it wasn’t anything at all. Maybe next time you should go stand in front of it to prove all the rest of us wrong. Or maybe you could read the description of what actually happened before you tell me we’re all wrong.
