Played in G major but sounds mellow and dreamy. Really nice.

Can u build loops on the fly over separate patterns or tracks with separate chord progressions that you can switch to on the fly? Cause that was the same pattern over and over again.

Lovely stuff. How did you record this?
@DallinJeppsonMusic2 ай бұрын
Thanks! I climbed up a tree, tied my camera to a branch with one of those bendy Jobi tripods, plugged the Reface CP (powered with batteries) into a Sound Devices MixPre6ii recorder (which was powered this time by a laptop in a backpack), and the rest is what you hear and see!

Really fun setup. How do you get the nature sounds in the background? Is it camera audio or is it added in afterwards? However you did it, it's put together really well.

@Oleg_K. Well, I wasn't prepared with the right gear for the wind when I went out, so I added the wave effects later. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hi, just got this juno ds 88 from thoman and must say that it is a great keybourd i like the old technology of roland , i have all new stuf , yamaha modx + , rd 2000, fantom 07 , no one is giving the sound and feel that i am olways looking for , especially when playing live through a PA , one thing about the memory for the expantion ,only one expantion can be download to the juno, Did you finde a solution for this issue?
@DallinJeppsonMusic3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comments! I believe only one expansion can be loaded into the keyboard at a time, which is a bit sad. You can download the expansions you like onto a flashdrive, then load only one at a time into the keyboard from there. There is some software made by Roland that I believe allows creation of a custom soundbank. You could create a soundbank of your favorite sounds from multiple expansions, then load that bank into the keyboard.

This synth has a Fantom X engine, which is why it sounds so good. Previous generation flagship engine, great effects, great features, great keyboard.

I am a month away from getting Roland JunoDS61. I found out about it at a band camp that had one and i love a good Synthesizer, thats probably why i have the arturia microfreak, it is also pretty good, if you like making your own sounds. I immediately fell in love with this exact keyboard. I originally thought I was going to get the nord stage 3, but after seing the price, yeah no, that is for the far future.

Hello, Always so interesting to watch and listen to. Technically, you use this keyboard and its looper functions in a fine and successful way. I ordered this synth from thomann in Germany in Europe, it will complete my keyboard set composed of a yamaha genos and a roland jupiter X. Pascal from New Caledonia

Hey man I just got this keyboard and I was hoping you could help me out with something. Whenever I try to loop something especially with drum beats they sound great when I play them but when there recorded they sound very spotty and nothing how I played them how do I fix this?
@DallinJeppsonMusic6 ай бұрын
It sounds like a quantization problem. If quantization is on, the notes you play will be realigned to be in perfect time. You can toggle quantization from the screen when you are in looper mode. Hopefully this helps!

I subscribed to your channel and now I see you have the RefaceCP too, also a great instrument. mine is gathering dust but I still play the CS. not to say that I don't love the piano but it was difficult not to put it in every recording. The CS sounds different every time I play it. it'll never get old!
