Hey man, I think this video is outdated. Look in the Transform area, instead of scrolling down to type...., using scale, x and y, allows you to fix it. simple. I have latest fCP for autumn, 2024.

I don’t have that button on my keyboard, the button to press when deleting the gap and not the video. Is there another button I can use? 😅

LIFE SAVER.....

I did the following: (because if you never imported the clips into folders, then you can't drag them in) Go through the process of linking them, even if it finds nothing and does nothing. Close the project and reopen, boom all back to normal. It seems like FCP just needs to sniff the files but won't update when the app is open. Reopen and they will all be there.
