No, there is a 3 year 36000 mile warranty, not much can go wrong.

Rode the 6 speed before I bought my 2019 DCT. Have owned over 25 bikes. Both were great. The DCT is just different. I like the challenge of low.speed handling without the clutch friction zone. I am old but not afraid to try new things. In traffic or relaxed riding, not manual shifting is great. Going to manual mode in Sport is awesome fast

Nice color for sure , we have on order one of the last 4Runners in Midnight Black . It’s also a TRD ORP. So looking forward to it. I also have a Toyota Tundra limited TRD 2022 , love that truck as well.

Absolutely 👍 congratulations on a super wise purchase choice. 89 octane will give you about a 1.2 mpg bump fyi and you will never get a recall letter right on

Thanks for the heads up on the 89. It’s sad my Tundra is affected by recall but at least Toyota stepped up. That’s why my wife and I decided to grap a 4 Runner , old school dependable truck.

Bought mine new in 2020. 50,000 plus miles no issues or letter from Honda yet. One of my favorite bikes in the stable of 7 motorcycles. (5 are Hondas)

I bought my '22 Tacoma TRD off-road 4X4 manual transmission in September within 5K I had my 🛢️ changed 3X also front diff, rear diff + manual transmission with amsoil 75w-90 gl-5 diffs & gl-4 transmission & redline MT-LV transfer case. From the day I got my truck it would clunk every time I would shift, I thought that was normal after I changed the rear differential that made the biggest difference cuz I changed each fluid at 1X to see if anything changed. No more clunking If it does it's operator error & minimal. Amsoil is pricey but anyone can do it & much better than factory fluids 💪💯% replace your crush washer's if u change out your fluids ALWAYS take off the fill 🔩 1st 👍👍

It's crazy how most people spend all that money on a pro & don't even take it off-road that's why I bought a Tacoma TRD off-road you get everything the same hardware (crawl & locker) as the pro model just a different skid plate $350 bucks different fog lights & 🦊 shocks & then it's obviously a premium package but I don't like leather too 🥵 🔥 in phoenix. I put sumo springs on my truck that really helped out for when I'm towing & driving on or off the road my truck feels so much better & cheap mod! I'm just leaving my truck alone suspension wise after them sumo springs & 265/75/16 KO2's E-rated

We kinda do, you have to have your dealer price match the parts from online this greatly reduces the cost of a dealer performing upgrade. We are planing around all in 2800 or so

@@honda116969 I purchased my 2022 TRD PRO 4R Lime Rush preowned with about 10k miles , market price difference from a TRD off road to a TRD Pro was approximately $5k-$8k at the time of my purchase. I took mine off roading 3 days after purchase. Cleghorn in SoCal to be exact, approximately 15 minutes away from where I live. I’m not a rock crawler or do anything crazy but I do go off roading in mine. The resale value of mine will be a lot higher than a TRD OffRoad from my personal research. I don’t plan on lifting mine atleast not anytime soon, besides adding a supercharger in the near future.

@@mosthated8190 that will really keep the value high adding a supercharger. I just don't think the TRD pro is worth it (to me) I don't like leather seats I live in Phoenix they're too hot. I use mine for work like there made for 😂 jk do what you got to do man, I'm glad you like your truck. I'm not going to sell mine so I don't give a shit what the resale value is. 🤷 manual transmission baby & poverty 📦 woohoo less shit to break haha to every pro there is a con, to every con there is a pro.. It's the ying to the yang of life... I got mine in 2022 when it was super hard to find trucks I paid $40,500 OTD with a 120,000 mi warranty for 7 years with gap insurance tax title license ready to go. Ain't to bad in a vehicle shortage usually 5K minimum markup on Tacoma's at that time

Hello. Took our 2020 Tacoma in for oil change at Toyota dealership, they added all 7 quarts. Instead of the 6.2 required. They told me the tech was new and made mistake. They should require a quality assurance person to over see techs work. He had been working there 2 months, can you imagine how many times he has done this.

@@OnDownTheRoadProductions what ? I'm not a troll. Relative to the 4runner, the Lexus doesn't seem like the right kind of upgrade. It is heavier. Power to weight ratio ends up the same, but with worse gas mileage and many more frill features to break. It objectively has worse off-road characteristics outside the box. I'm not saying the GX is trash, nor am I a troll because I have criticism of something you like. None of what I said was untrue. The GX fills a strange niche. It's a luxury SUV that pretends to be an off-road capable rig. Different people buy 4runners than Gx. That being said, the GX is a great street SUV with a solid pedigree. Drive what you like.

I had a manual 18 wing and now a 24 DCT because the new ones in germany only come with DCT ... I can understand both parties, manual was great on the wing and the DCT also. Sometimes I miss the manual, sometimes not... both sytems have advantage and disadvantages 🤷 Ride safe GW Bros ✌️

Its good that you get a chose. Here in Australia Honda sales weren't that good for the 6 speed manual so Honda stopped importing them. That's what I have been told by a Honda dealership in Melbourne.

I’m just gonna throw this out there…. I picked up a new trd pro, that someone must have reserved, then let go. No extra charges, and had it delivered from across the state to me. I had a pro on reserve that might be a ship right now, but I kept checking for deals like this. They were out there weekly, but this was the one that worked for me. Got it two months early, then sold my ORP for a decent price. Win-win. 👍🤪🏳️🌈

Thank you for the detailed video. If you still have your 4Runner TRD ORP, our dealer programmed the lights for us. You just leave them in the "On" position and when you start the car, they go on. When you leave the car, just press lock twice and the lights go off.

I had a 2018 DCT the best thing i liked about it was reverse i would just back up my steep driveway into my garage the worst thing when coming to a stop the bike would downshift into 1st where I was reaching for the ground I sold the bike after 6 months plus coming off of a Yamaha FJR it was very slow I have a Tesla Model 3 base that's faster than a gold wing DCT now that's embarrassing

The manual has an electric reverse and then you push a button and take off in first quicker than same DCT operation. We have a Rocket3GT faster than any DCT

just had to have the coolant plate reinstalled on my 2022 at 60k. Lexus said it is a maintenance issue and won't cover it

Excellent video! I just happened to stumble on to it. Do you still have this bike and if so what are your thoughts now? Why did you select this bike over other bikes, particularly the Ducati XDivel which is also a power cruiser? Just curious? Also, the wheelbase of this bike is long 66 if I recall, so how does that effect handling and nimbleness. What do you think of the Rocket 3 GT 2024 now that time has passed. Have they improved the bike and if so would you get a newer model.Some of the break downs you mentioned on the road is scary being so far away from home. Were you able to get dealer support? Thanks and who is doing the interview? I like that approach? Thanks

A lot of stuff here. I think dealer shop experiences are hit or miss. I’ve had some good ones, squeeze me in last minute, not charge me for an extra service I asked for, etc. Even got a free service, at 5k well past my two year window, during covid without any prompting. But I’ve been on the other side too, including the bump shop paint job on a bumper repair some years back. Live and learn. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
