Cuz last time I checked your name wasn't Gretchen or Regina. idk what it is with the internet, but its like if you're lacking on a subject, the internet cant just be like "oh nah man, its this not that" NOOOooo. You gotta kick me in the balls and iron my tongue out before you can 💫enlighten💫 me. And I'm ngl I have done it too, but I try to correct that. I appreciate you for the newfound knowledge tho. @@AntwanIsHymn tbh i discovered you from reacting to Tyla just today & i like your energy. i would like to apologise for my arrogance & mean girl energy i guess, it’s just that sometimes us as Africans we get annoyed when witnessing the “American stereotypes” being confirmed i guess. here in South Africa, maybe in other African countries as well, we know Americans, mostly African Americans to be individuals who know nothing about the world outside of the US, y’all are known to be that one group of people who “think” that the world revolves around them 🤷🏽♀️ i’m glad that i was able to correct you on some stuff but sorry for the “mean girl” energy

@@luv3ander Oh yea naaah you DIFFERENT. An apology? Thank you. And honestly the *"African Americans to be individuals who know nothing about the world outside of the US, y’all are known to be that one group of people who “think” that the world revolves around them"* is how they separate us and have us fighting over dumb ish instead of collaborating and growing. There's a lot of problems that ARE there. I wont lie. But there's also a lot of faux "problems" that are merely manufactured by colonization, propaganda, and miseducation to keep us at odds. Like you see how they calling Tyla an "uppity african"? That's the stuff I'm talking about.

wtf dude ? what would make you think that South Africans don’t celebrate Christmas ? like i thought you trolling
@AntwanIsHymnКүн бұрын
i have no clue tbh. i think its because I try to get out of the mindset Americans typically have which is, we're the popular girl in class and everyone else follows our every step. Me assuming Christmas is celebrated halfway across the world would, in my head, be furthering that thought process.

Google Outkast Source Awards. They got booed after winning Best New Artist and Dre made a speech that changed Hip Hop. After that Atlanta artist banned together. Now everyone from Atlanta has ties to Dungeon Family ( OutKast, Organized Noize, Good Mob, Future, Killer Mike, etc)
@gtjohns220Күн бұрын
Big Boi doesn't have a verse on Hey Ya! bc that album was basically 2 solid albums from Big and Dre lumped together. Big Boi had a huge hit off that album with I Love The Way You Move.

You should check out Goodie Mob Soul Food as well. That album solidified Atlanta and was the origin of the term Trap and Trap music. 2 Pac heard the album and tried to join the group but they term him down but they became close friends with Pac moving to Atlanta and they were his pallbearers at his private funeral.

Rosé was born in New Zealand and Raised in Austrila (she has an Aussie accent) she autioned for YG Ent. at the age of 15 with her guitar and beat out 700 other people placing first. They asked if she could move to S. Korea within two months that's how bad they wanted her. She left her home, friends and family to move to S. Korea alone to train to be a kpop idol. She trained for 4 years, 15 hour days with a day off every other week (or fornite as she called it in their documentary on Netflix: Blackpink LIght Up the Sky). She made her debut in 2016 with Blackpink and they blew up and have many celeb fans and friends.
@nirvana95369 күн бұрын
appreciate your reaction. Rosé's debut full studio album 'rosie' is a no skip album with a mix of genres (even an r&b track) you shoul check it out. she has another single with a music video called 'number one gilr' Bruno co-wrote and co-produced this one and Rosé directed the video herself. This song really showcases her vocals which is actually what she's known for a song like Apt doesn't really show it. her most recent music video is 'toxic till the end' which is basically a move. Rosé co-wrote, co-composed, and executive produced all 12 songs on her album 'rosie' and she owns the masters and publishing rights to all the songs Apt included. Rosé is from the biggest girl group in the world Blackpink they've broken tour records for most girl groups, they are the most subscribed music artist channel on youtube with over 95 million subs, they've headlined Coachella and BTS Hyde Park the first Korean act to do so, Times Entertainer of the Year 2022, they did a huge world tour which including a US stadium tour for example they sold out MetLife Stadium in back to back shows. The members all took a year to work on solo projects they are still a group. make no mistake Rosé is a kpop idol but this is her breaking out from that kpop and blackpink image so it's not a kpop album. infact she's doing things that idols don't normally do like talking about her own personal relationships (dating is a taboo and to maintain a fan service idols are not normally even allowed to admit they date yeah it's insane but that's kpop) so Rosé singing about a man in her bed and being a writer on the songs (idols normally have their songs written for them). Rosé has always stood out as different not only in Blackpink but as a kpop idol she's a musician who plays guitar and piano since childhood, and her deep love of music like on a spiritual level music is her life and she has so much appreciation and honesty towards it that it made her stand out. she's being praised by the likes of The Grammy's drop a few notes of praise. Rosé GRAMMYs on ROSÉ's album “rosie”: “It's perhaps one of the most introspective works to ever come out of K-pop. The result is a relatable, emotional “little journal” of a promising global star. ROSÉ proves that she's an artist who refuses to be put in a box” 4 Ways ROSÉ's 'Rosie' Sets Her Apart From BLACKPINK “As she did with -R-, the singer/songwriter led the entirety of rosie's creative direction and writing, further delving into ruminations on staying true to herself.” NME 4/5 review On her debut solo album, BLACKPINK’s Rosé sheds her armour, revealing a more vulnerable side behind the polished pop powerhouse. Pop Passion Rosie Review: 10/10 "ROSÉ is also a songwriter for every track, and she has impeccable literary craftsmanship, describing how it feels to want to be with someone no matter what, and also to experience toxic relationships. This album came in with a bang, not only with APT. being the successful leading single, but this being ROSÉ's first solo album and first debut album, and I believe its release was handled exceptionally."

(not kpop FIRST FEMALE ARTIST PERIOD) US - #8 Japan - #1 Germany - #4 UK - #2 France - #10 China - #1 South Korea - #1 Canada - #2 Australia - #1 Brazil - #7 ROSÉ becomes the first-ever female K-pop soloist in history to top Global digital artist rank as the most consumed artist around the world across all platforms. ROSÉ remains the first and ONLY K-pop female soloist to reach #1 on both Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US. ROSÉ & Bruno Mars “APT.” becomes the first song in history by a K-pop act to earn over 50 million streams for 10 consecutive weeks on global Spotify weekly chart. ROSÉ becomes the first K-pop act in history to reach #1 on Apple Music Global chart. Gaga’s first few albums from 2008 and onward were very pop-centric. Then she experimented with other genres like folk, country, jazz, and other projects like acting in TV and film, and she also created her own makeup brand, started a born this way charity foundation etc… This track that you’re reacting to is kind of a call-back to her original roots in terms of sound production

Watch her live performance rendition of “Sound of Music” at the Oscars. Or her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner (two separate times) first at the Super Bowl, and a separate time for President Biden’s inauguration. Her film, A Star Is Born has a lot of great original tracks. Also, because it’s this time of year, so I recommend reacting to Gaga’s live performance of “New York, New York” from Sinatra 100, because it’s New Years Eve time!
