By using AI, you spit in the face of everyone with a passion for making beautiful things. If you want to be an artist, PICK UP A PEN AND MAKE IT YOURSELF. You can steal our brushes, but you will never be worthy of the title of Artist, so long as you believe AI abominations deserve more acclaim than what you could be capable of producing on your own. I love making art. It is a beautiful process, a conversation recorded. Since AI cropped up everywhere, it has taken me the better part of a year to feel any sense of motivation to get back into creating. AI is poison, both psychologically and ecologically. It has great potential for good, but nothing of the sort will be produced when attempting to replicate true beauty.

@@NikoNicodemus010 since we know ai has been reliant on stealing billions of images via a non-profit, than they gave it's 5 billion pieces of theft to FOR PROFIT businesses - you'll have an uphill battle trying to form an argument making this ethical. If each video and image stolen was valued at merely $1 that's still a 5 billion dollar crime. If they were hit with a miniscule $1000 fine per image - that would be a 5 trillion dollar debt. Face it - this is the largest financial crime in world history - the largest IP theft in world history and the largest privacy violate in world history. One of my stances about generative AI is that it _can_ be a useful aid for simple / well-defined tasks (which, noticeably, is exactly what your examples are) that may otherwise be very time/energy-consuming to do yourself. Color theory and composition, for example, are among The Fundamentals (tm) and can typically be evaluated objectively, even algorithmically. This being said, generative AI is such a pariah to artists that it's basically "radioactive", where even the _hint_ that an artist _may_ have incorporated _any_ non-zero amount of generative model in their workflow renders the finished piece "contaminated", or artistically invalid.

Recently I've been really into Huevember, I finally came back to it last year and it was so fun! For other suggestions of drawing challenges, there's Stephtember, which isnt made by her but its made by the community of the DoodleDate channel, based on things Steph, one of the people in the channel, likes :] (plus its her birthday month) And theres also Apoctober, from the channel Subjectively, which the focus is on their own lovecraftian horror universe, with the list being themed after that

Thanks for those ideas, I will try a few of them. But I don't trust the Ai art generators that I use for references. Because, they either give me the stereotypical six fingers, bad eyes, fusion or worse, NSFW stuff. I am better off using them as idea bouncers😅. Those big companies are the main ones that I see them as suspicious. They are the main ones that will use ai to steal from artists and lay/fire them, just to make a quick buck and no quality.

I honestly don't understand why you would use AI this way in the first place. This is the worst way to use AI I've ever seen. You are not working with AI, you are working against it. Using Photoshop with AI is best explained in the Shadiversity video.
