They lie and hide the truth, one of the ways to get an idea of what it's drawing depends on the model, there are 8 parts to a make a whole in 1/8, so it would be 850 x 8 at full power which is 6,800 watts, which at 120v is about 55 amps, but since the 3600 doesn't give honest power ratings at all as well as the rest of their amplifiers and only give max ratings which are bogus, its hard to really tell unless you measure it, with a non inductive dummy load resistor bank an oscilloscope, a calculator, basic math and signal generator with a current clamp meter, then you'd know, if they were a serious company they would list continuous rms average power figures from 20hz to 20khz both channels driven along with current requirements and btu heat output depending on ohm load. This Amp does however have a 30 Amp fuse on it, so, 120v x 30 amps equals 3,600 watts, so at least expect for it to need at least 20 to 25 amps. It really should have a 30 Amp twist lock connector on it, not a 15 Amp iec power connector, out of a 15 Amp 120v outlet, you'll only get 1850w, after thermal and electrical losses in the Amp, it would be less. Honestly, stick with a real Amp like qsc's rmxa series, a qsc rmx 2450a will be far more honest, even the 1450a, or qsc's pl380.
