I have more wooden handle makeup brushes so I wouldn't be able to do this.
@ChristineHilbert

I appreciate you sacrificing your brushes for the sake of knowledge and I’m glad it worked for you! I have wooden brushes so I wouldn’t be comfortable doing this. I also don’t know what type of material the bristle or metal attachment is made of so without that knowledge I probably wouldn’t even risk a tester. I think anyone considering the wash machine method should consider what material your brush is made of. Research what happens when the individual material your brush is made out of is immersed in water, and how it responds to heat or high pressure force. (Example: brush made of: synthetic plastic (bristle), plastic (body and handle), metal(bristle attachment to brush)-try to find out the specific type- and glue (head attachment to body). Once you know how all of these materials respond to heat, pressure and water, you can make a more informed decision before putting your test brush in. An opposite example of the above example is a brush made out of horse hair, white gold, cherry oak wood. You obviously wouldn’t want to throw those materials in the wash. I don’t own anything like that, but I’m just saying hypothetically.

okay the lady has no idea what she is talking about... you are supposed to let henna steep overnight. Also there has always been a variety of colors but getting a consistent color can be hard because it is a natural plant. There will always be variations in color.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews of the wonder water that said they get a bad break out on their face. That’s why i am hesitant to try it, because i don’t want break outs. I always use the bondi sands 1 hour on my face and never break out from it so i don’t know how it will be with this one. But i do loveeee the results. What is your opinion?
