Booted up the game for the first time in years and got curious why I had a 4 beastmaster squad. Scrolled down my like list until I found this video. Found your channel again. I see you haven't uploaded in a while but I hope you are doing well and thank you for the Bravely Default content, as well and the Wild Hearts and Monster Hunter content as well!

When I first played this game, I didn't think that you could get certain upgrades earlier than usual until I found information about sequence breaking on the internet.

I love your personality and the way you jump right into the tips and tricks without over-postulating about your gamer-ness. 😄 These videos have been very helpful for someone who has recently started playing Bravely Default 2. I just wanted to make one clarification if it hasn't been made already -- The Beastmaster passive, Creature Comforts, DOES NOT require you to hold the monsters in your inventory to work. The passive is calculated based on the number of times you successfully use the Capture ability and the stat boost persists even if you use the monsters. The description for the ability is a bit misleading and should have been reworded to prevent the slight confusion as "All stats are increased by an amount based on the number of times the player has successfully used the Capture ability."

I literally tried almost this exact setup and my characters would spend the 40 MP and proceed to not steal anything half the time, and the other half of the time they would spend 80 or even 120 MP AND STILL NOT STEAL THE BOOSTER BUNS WHAT IN THE FUCK IS HAPPENING WHAT ARE YOU GUARANTEEING

Finally got this done. The things I do for Team Bow Man! This was such a painful experience for me, especially since I play exclusively with the bow. Dealing with Rajang was beyond irritating. I really dislike how this mode forces you to use weapons you're not familiar with, considering the immense amount of time and effort it takes to master any weapon in this game. And the coins-don't even get me started. I had to face Rajang twice after five failed attempts before that. As for Barioth, it was incredibly frustrating. I thought I had it in the first two tries, but nope. On the second try, I had everything I needed except a Hunter Ace Coin, and instead, I got a bunch of Barioth coins. Seriously, what dumb luck. The whole experience felt more like a chore. I am so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.

the best part about the Bravely Default games is that EVERY class can easily be made ridiculously broken.

Best farming combo. Beast master / ranger all three steal abilities, indiscriminate rage and beast whisperer. Stack speed if your gear and use a bow. Normal attacks now hit everything. Very low miss chance with bow. You steal from every enemy you hit and you collect more monsters which turns beast master into an op mess. You collect many many jp and exp orbs from stealing making grinding jobs a thing of the past.... This combo ridiculous, try it. You can set it up from savalon onward... downside is it makes the majority of the game redunant. The only challenge you'll find is in the bosses.

Thank you for this! This is the first video I've seen mention pushing the LVL 2 Horizontal Bolster forward all the way to aim straight instead of raining down. Added so much more consistency to my damage and less time having to stay still shooting. Thank you!

For those wiki wikis, I found that you can actually paralyze them. I used the ranger’s Shadowbind ability for that. And as for other grinding places, my dad told me about a grinding place in wiswald. It’s easier to access after you beat it, but my gosh is it worth it. So you know where you fight the pictomancer? At the start of that dungeon, go to the teleporter, and go to the boss battle from there. The monsters there should be scared of you by the time you try this. I’ve been able to get around 13-14 monsters each time. And if you saved up monstrous medley’s (which I did), then that’ll be even better for you.

I cant find anything online but is there a chart on stat boosts through monster numbers i have approximately 125 monsters and im not seeing much difference stat wise

Started the game yesterday following this tactic to immediately max the freelancer then the first 3 jobs, with Sloan as a party member still. While also having freelancer as my sub class I default continually to max 3 and then cast forage snagging a ridiculous amount of loot like immense pickups I shouldn't have this early. All the whole Sloan is healing and fighting all the enemies
