I'm not a hater or anything like that, but I just feel like I need to give you some constructive words.. You're not supposed to use anything harsh on your hardwood floors. Either use a damp mop with water or damp mop with Murphy's oil soap. And you're not supposed to leave any water standing, so we're talking damp. Water, and chemicals especially, dulls and eventually ruins hardwood floors. And you're not supposed to pour your dirty water down the sink. You should dump that outside. You don't want to stop up your drains. And the chemicals are horrible for your septic tank, if you have one. They kill the good bacteria that keeps you flowing. Hope this helps! ❤

How many times did you change your water? Did you do a rinse mop? The floor isn't really clean unless you do another rinse to determine how dirty the water still is. However, I do like the spin mop and may purchase it. As, well, washing with hot water is the proper way to wash a floor.

I would be tempted to go over it very quickly with a weak vinegar solution after cleaning it with tide. The soap will build up over time and it gets dull and a tiny bit sticky so dirt and stains will also build up quicker. 😊 I have oak floors and they are still looking good and I have a guest house. 👍

I use mine for washing the walls and washing down the cabinets. I have a separate mop head for both chores. And it works! Saw it on some other channels. No climbing on ladders. I love mine. Never tried boiling water. You can get 4 new mop heads for $9.99. Not ocedar brand but works the same. I’ve given as gift to 2 friends and they are so happy with it.

If you the chai tea from Starbucks just add crème brûlée to vanilla chai black tea. Drink it hot or over ice. Pennies compared to $6 or $7 dollars at Starbucks.

Good information, but I would NEVER pour that dirty water into the sink where I prepare food. It either goes outside or in the toilet. I mean, would you cook in a laundry sink?

Those Swifter things just cost more, leave a residue, and are bad for the environment. I would be concerned about the Tide pods affecting the wood, but that would depend on how the wood was sealed and stained. Hot water, the right floor cleaner, and a bit of elbow grease will do the trick every time.👍🏾

I see you’re getting ingredients to make laundry detergent I’m assuming? To make homemade scent booster beads its 1-1/2 cups Epsom salts, 1/2-cup if Baking Soda and 20-30 drops of essential oils. I have never used them before but since I have all the ingredients I will make a batch..lol..

I love my o seeder mop Also, I have a mop head that I only use to clean my cabinets and my walls put it in ziploc bag so I don't mix it in with the one that does the floors. It does an incredible job, and I have high ceilings, and I can do them all the way up. Love it, going to try the floor. You showed right now, thank you

I love my spin mop. I do not trust the no rinse way of doing it. So, i bought 2. I mop with one & rinse with the other. And the rinse water is dirty when i empty it. It is the very best at not leaving water. I spin it 15x when i rinse. It does dry very quickly. Only complaint is the mop head pops off sometimes when i spin it.

Here's my mopping hack that works for me. I have a swiffer dry mop, and I use microfiber cloths (use whatever washable pads work best for you, but the thinner microfiber tucks into the top of the mop in the same way that disposable mopping pads does, so it works best for me) and one bucket of water with cleaner of choice (I use a squirt of dawn and lemon juice or peroxide, depending on what Im cleaning). You do not rinse your pads if you have enough of them, but you just simply wet your clean pads and swap out with the dirty ones on the mop. No dirty water to swish around on your floors, or stick your hands in 😝and you always have a clean mop. Then launder the dirty rags/mop heads. And you are good for next time. I had to purchase 2-3 bulk packs of the cloths in order to have enough to do my floors but this has now become my preferred method. The stringy mop heads always got knotted in the wash and wore out quickly. The cloths are designated to cleaning floors and other nasties, saving my kids from grabbing a kitchen towel to clean the floor when cleaning a spill (GROSS!).

Should NEVER use such hot of water on microfiber mops...microfiber is made with PLASTIC which melts with hot water, to be honest, you only need a 1 Tide pod, you did not need to add the Mr. Clean as well. That is way too much soap, honestly. Dumping your dirty floor water down the sink is a terrible idea. You should use the toilet for that job, so gross.

This is great but I have found, imo, such a good mop. Dollar General sells a mop by Mr. Clean that costs around 10$ that is the best mop I've ever owned. It has a handle for wringing so u don't have to put hands in water,a built in scrub sponge and it has a simple design that allows it to come apart and be thrown in the washer. I've had the same mop for about 6-9 months and other than the scrubbing sponge part wearing out I've been able to just throw it in washer with bleach and have a clean mop every time and it's held up really well. Just thought I'd share for those looking for a really good mop that's really affordable.😊
