Is that a Fender Esquire? Looks pretty mint. Reissue?

It’s my parts Tele that I had set up as an Esquire for many years. I’ve got a Strat pickup in the neck position now but it sounded great with just the bridge. Thanks for watching!

Only discovered this song a few days ago. Had it on repeat for about 2 hours. This solo might be simple, but it really got my attention. It just fits with everything else that’s going on. Sometimes, you just need to keep it simple and roll with the vibe. Great lesson by the way! I worked most of it out by ear, but was curious to see how others approached it! Thanks 🎸👏🙏

I have both amps. My LT25 doesn't sound boxy or hollow at all. I suspect something is misadjusted on the LT25. There is a digital 5 band global EQ in the amp, in addition to the 3 band digital EQ in each of the presets, and the 2 band analog EQ on the control panel. I'd suggest taking a look at the settings of the 5 band EQ. Something may be way off. There is an old saying about too many cooks spoiling the broth. With 3 separate overlapping EQs, each with different center points, the possibility of really screwing up the tone abounds. Lastly, thanks for doing a great review. It's nice to see someone taking the time to comparitively review amplifiers in this price range. Beginners need this as much as intermediate players need info on thousand dollar amps. 👍👍👍👍👍

Writing this in 2024 and believe it or not I found one brand new. All the newer Sonic line I believe are all slab body so boy did I luck out! I thought for sure it was a return and would have some issues with but no. It's black and I took the white pick up guard off, put a black one on, only mod I've done, nicknamed it Black Beauty. I only plan on up grading the nut and string Ts. I rather keep it as close to stock as possible. I love playing this guitar clean, it's opened me open to an appreciation for a blues style of play. Point being that I can live with these stock pickups. I think they are decent! May need to cut down the saddle screws as they are getting close to the strings as I set my intonation. Yes, ten gauge strings or higher are a must. I've heard folks run acoustic strings on, I may try that out. Funny how people, not all, who spend thousands on their gear turn their noses up I've noticed. I don't think they like that a "lower end" guitar is giving the higher ends a run for their money, literally. Anyhow, great common sense, grounded review! Thank you!

I own the micro terror, micro dark and the terror stamp, and to my ears the micro dark has the best clean sound of the three-which is bizarre as that is probably the last thing that people who buy it are thinking of!

Great lesson. Elliot Easton solos are so memorable. Can you tell me about your decision to place a compensated nut on your telecaster neck. Was it an easy modification and would you do it again? Thanks for all your lessons. I have been watching you for years now.
@HoodrioАй бұрын
@@jorgeroman6272 Thanks for watching and for the feedback! The short answer on the compensated nut is no, I would not recommend it. At the time (circa 2008) I was trying to build a dream partscaster with all the best components and I guess I bought into the hype that a compensated nut would be the best, but honestly I have never been able to tell any difference. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, but again no benefit for me.
