Hi, good info, what program do you suggest to improve my storytelling?

Good question; all good NLP practitioner courses include storytelling. However, that may not be for you at the moment. PS This is the content to go with the video: www.nlp-techniques.org/what-is-nlp/storytelling/

NLP is the biggest con there ever was, I remember this crap from 30 years ago when i trained as a hypnotherapist, I watched 'master NLP practitioners' fail over and over and over, they used to charge many thousands to do their courses, they suckered hundreds of thousands of the gullible in to parting with their money to learn absolute rubbish.

I am a licensed plumbing contractor and working underneath a house crawlspace can be a horrifying experience. It is dark, dirty, cold, wet, damp, smelly, and your movement is "majorly" restricted. You have to deal with spiders and dead rats too. All of this while I am crawling on my stomach. I heard about a N.L.P. technique very similar to the technique shown above many years ago so I followed the steps recommended and repeated it many times. Little by little I started noticing my confidence level being much higher than normal and each experience after that became easier and easier with no fear. I am living proof that N.L.P. has what it takes to create outstanding results. I thank God for N.L.P. because it has help me make more money and get the job done right the first time!

Thanks for that. I'd been introduced to this technique years ago by an Irish man on Yotube and found it worked immediately. That sounds like an outrageous claim, right? His variation was play the memory, replay it in black-and-white, then with the interference of a bad TV signal and one last time replay it again adding the music associated with circus clowns. Now all I can remember about that memory is that the technique worked. I can't remember the actual memory or what it was about.

I’ve been watching your video and trying to make it work. I’m stuck because I’m having a problem doing the part where I’m to “take that image and throw it out to the Verizon, with the color training away.“ I don’t know how to do that. I don’t know how to throw that image, move that image anyway, or otherwise change that image. I’ve tried everything I can to do that,and I can’t make it happen, more than I could do that with any other image that I imagine actually saw. Is there another video that will tell me how to do that part of the procedure? I also tried it the other way, of course, with hearing the sounds and making them quieter, but I don’t know how to do that either. I don’t know how to make the sounds get quiet. Is this something that I’ve got to be just born knowing how to do? Please advise.

@@NLPTrainingLeadershipCoaching I haven’t had time till now, because (for a couple of months) some aspects of my work had to become a much higher priority as deadlines/etc. were being altered in ways that made scheduling difficult. Sometime today, I MAY finally have enough foreknowledge of my schedule that I could responsibly schedule a session with you - but what will it cost?

Uh-oh … I was trying to use your link to book a call, but after choosing the date & time, I couldn’t cause the screen to advance to the next page. (I couldn’t cause the button to work when I clicked it.) this in itself has created yet another powerfully bad memory, and (as stated above) I haven’t been able to cause your memory-erasure methods to work for me, either. Hi Michael, thanks for the video! I’ve come to learn that a master NLP practitioner has been manipulating someone I know. They’re been ‘working’ on them for over a year & created a warped manipulated reality. They’ve also done this to other women. I have very clear proof. However it’s not so clear to the person who’s been manipulated. 1. How do I get through to the person that’s been manipulated? 2. I can’t find any regulatory body that this practitioner is register on, yet they claim to be a master & continue to brand themselves online with a large TikTok following. They’re based in LA. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏼

Hi Jess, This a really great question, and your question will be better than my answer, I believe that, in some ways, we all manipulate each other all the time. Both my daughter (when she was younger) and my granddaughter seemed to intuitively learn how to get me to do what they wanted - I felt it was almost an art form; they both learned precisely how far they could go and ruthlessly used me as an initial practice for dealing with men later. (which, in a way, I enjoyed), One of the challenges is that some people actually like (at least in the short term) being manipulated and seek out those who do so. Someone is paying them very close attention, which may mean a lot to them, and they can get angry if someone challenges them. (So I understand your situation.) Unless they are in physical danger (which is a whole different story), I would say very gently that I suspect the person might not be suitable for them and to move on if they ever felt their own needs weren't being met. And to keep repeating it or different versions of it over time. - A bit like sowing seeds. We have to learn our own life lessons, but gentle suggestions are fine. If they were in physical danger, I would be absolutely blunt, like metaphorically kicking them and spelling out the implications of their actions in straightforward language. I understand the accreditation point; if anybody is studying NLP seriously, it is worth confirming who their accreditation body is. In the unlikely event they do anything you think is unethical, report them. Michael

@@NLPTrainingLeadershipCoaching Wow Michael, thank you for the detailed response & so quick! I really appreciate the response! Yes I totally agree, manipulation comes in many forms. Some good & some bad. In this particular case, it has led to an emotional affair, that then turned psychical at the first opportunity. (Base in another location). The practitioner has broken down barriers & posed as a ‘friend’ at first. The lady didn’t seek help from him, he instead offered it after a while (work at the same place remotely). Over the course of a year, he twisted the truth, planting seeds of doubt about her relationship. While we was doing this he started to take things further & came on to her. The lady was also very vulnerable, losing a close friend suddenly & the stagnation in life from covid, he knew this and a couple months after made his move. He asked leading questions that naturally pushed the conversation in only one direction. He’s done this to 3-4 other women at his place of work, all ‘friends’ where he gained their trust & convinced them to exit their existing relationships (all while having an emotional affair & sexting them). I believe that he’s used his NLP knowledge to manipulate these women into thinking that their relationships are not right for them, they need to ‘get out’ & then he sleeps with them. He’s also joint hosting an online class about non-monogamy with a love & relationship coach. He also cheated on his ex wife and gaslit her when she asked why he was talking to certain other women at his place of work. He uses this as a ‘victim’ card to gain trust & sympathy from these women, leaning on them for ‘support’ about is ‘toxic’ ex-wife who was divorcing him. For me, this seems to be littered with red flags. But then again, I’m no NLP coach & might be making nothing out of something. What are your thoughts on this?
@NLPTrainingLeadershipCoaching Жыл бұрын
@@Jess-or5we Thanks again for your response, My thoughts are that it's easy for me to comment, but I've no idea what the actual truth is, One definition of NLP is that it's the study of what people experience. In this case, we can both guess what both parties are experiencing, but I obviously don't know and am not sure you do. I occasionally work with both men and women on these subjects, and I'm left with the impression that, in many cases, women are far more emotionally robust than men (maybe because they have to be). I'm cautious about making assumptions until I've spoken to both parties individually and together. So let me ask you a mischievous question. What do the women you mention see in the guy? Is he in some way meeting what they need? From their point of view. (not yours). I ask the question because when we've seen the situation from everyone's point of view, (theirs, his, and yours as an observer) we're in a much better position to understand what's going on. And, of course, you might be 100% right about the red flags. I don't know without hearing their experience and point of view (and preferably his as well). When I don't know what's going on, I default to listening and helping people feel heard. It often surprises me that listening to people helps people connect to their own internal resources. And when they ask for help, help them. Michael

You can use your imagination. There are many times in our lives when we've been creative (we wouldn't still be here if we weren't). Pretend you have a creative part and find out what it would suggest. (I know it sounds daft, but that doesn't stop it from working.)

@@mjmjmj8911 You can use it to bring some of the resources you had before you were anxious/depressed to help you move forward in the present/future. My view is that we learn something from every experience, and you'll be in a better position to move forward when you've articulated what you've gained from being anxious/depressed - However strange this may sound. I also believe that our personalities evolve from our life experiences; it's called growth. (And I wish it wasn't so painful at times), I tend to believe 'suffering + reflection = growth.' (Although I appreciate many of my clients hate it when I suggest this.

I did an NLP course. I watched as Bandler put three volunteers into a hypnotic trance. One of the insolent volunteers piped up saying he didn’t feel anything or words to that effect to which Bandler very aggressively told him to ‘shut up’. When I asked another volunteer if she had actually been hypnotised she said no but played along. This is what hypnosis really is - just playing along.
@NLPTrainingLeadershipCoaching2 жыл бұрын
For some yes, for others no, The interesting point is some people think they've been hypnoties when they haven't, and other don't think they've been hypnotised when they have. The test is can they do something that they wouldn't be able to do normally (eg solve difficult problems, have teeth extracted without anaestetic etc). I look at it that being able to be hypnotised is a great skill (we just want to be careful who is doing it to who).
