@thai1475 I always release two versions of my build. The melee range evasion is better for small scale The magic ranged and ranged endurance is better for large scale Both are good for endgame just depends what you want to do more. Also depends on the meta for your server and region

Mine build is very similar to urs, but i use ankle strike and you use brutal incision. But i cant see that crit amp working. There is no buff/status. Does it work ONLY for Brutal Incision?

Correct. Brutal incision crit dmg is only for that skill. You'll see 2 to 4k hits and sometimes if it offhand and heavy attack at same time You'll see massive dps from this skill. It's very rng heavy

@iswaren261 by dropping dagger you instantly lose some evasion from the shadow walker passive All spear passives are pure damage That being said, you will be squishier so to supplement this its best to have some endurance. For pvp you'd want to eventually main hand spear and get the endurance passive from top row that way you have evasion plus endurance I wouldnt reccomend ever playing spear as full evasion. Its meant to be hybrid with evasion and endurance hence the masteries support both

Im playing Bow/Staff atm but i hate that class in small scale or arena. Just saw your videos and Spellblade looks so nice, but i got that endurance build for staff/bow. Do you think Dagger would be a good 3. weapon for me or might spear be better?

@quackug spear definitely had better synergies with bow than dagger but that doesn't mean you can't go from staff bow to staff dagger and make both viable. My suggestion would be to run either a 2 endurance 1 evasion or 2 evasion 1 endurance build. However you can't run this until you have good rune synergies for the extra health points. Compare the cost of traits of swapping to some evasion vs the cost of just getting the spear and see which ones worth it for you

i dont get it, is it server diff or something, you are walking right in the middle of 10 ppl and no one gives a fuk, you just deal free damage. in our server i would instantly get 5 gs/dagger on me the second i get my head out of safe zone. look at 2:54 i have never been able to walk freely like this ever in this game since first day. yea sure dmg is great but its not even playable in small scale without melee evasion at all

@gereksizkanal8694 i play both melee evasion and magic evasion builds. It depends on who I see more. Most of the time I prefer my magic setup because higher dmg though. I would say if that many gs users are on your sever you just roll melee range or melee magic evasion build and roll them. I always play to counter the meta

@nuggettscout5715 endurance is good. Just not better than evasion on a dagger build. Endurance is better with spear or bow because of the endurance passives and healing Anyway you can keep 1 endurance stats and reroll to two evasion if you have the right runes. This way you have all 3

In terms of mobility yeah staff dagger is alot faster but in terms of dps staff spear is comparable single target and superior in AOE

Still viable but with rune synergies you should hit 60 perception easier and add points to strength and or dex. @grimmjow4784 Try using the rune synergies from the other magic ranged builds

@grimmjow4784 if you want to melee dps with staff it's just better to pickup the spear. It does 10x more damage than dagger. Dagger melee dps has been complained about since launch but they refuse to fix this for some reason

A suggestion for your next video or an update is to go over everything in the video like masteries for BOTH weapons, active and passive skills and why they are chosen, all the gear pieces you are currently using, the you are working towards and stats to focus more on while working on the set, as well as recommended food buffs and what to ro when a rotation is messed up, etc. It nakes the video more of a comprehensive guide that is a one-stop-shop and doesn't require people to guesd of to to other guides to fill in the missing gaps.

I´m trying 2 pieces of the fortitude Set + Junobote Weapon with endurance(endurance got more value now as you well know), do less damage but you take a lot of less damage, what do you think? One more thing, i gotta use Bloodleach Aura cuz i got Junobote weapon and its real good damage, what skill should i get rid off? 2 harvest set pieces are a must? Thanks a lot man!!!

anything dagger instantly becomes better in most situations. However, dagger spear is one of the worst dagger paired classes available. Staff spear shines in group play and large scale not small scale tbh

What is the reason you run focused fireball over unfocused and instant cast? Just curious since it looks like you can build stacks quicker and don’t risk getting stunned before you can fully charge your fireball.

Focused fireball just does an enormous amount more dps compared to unfocused fireball. Especially with a crit dmg build that I'm running with shadow harvester; you will always shit harder with the fully charged firebomb.

I feel staff spear has overall more aoe dps while bow staff has less dps, but better party synergy because of its mark ability to boost party crit. For a solo dps staff spear should do more dmg but its synnergies pair with other spear and staff users mostly. Also one thing to note, staff spear is PURE dmg, while staff bow has sustain and more endurance stacking due to bow passive.

@JPC326 i currently have 800 from my gear You can add 100 from spear mastery Then stack more when you are able to hit 30 fortitude and from runes to put you over 1k Just keep in mind victorious energy stacks with evasion so you'd ideally still want either 1 evasion 2 endurance or 2 evasion 1 endurance stats endgame

I believe staff/spear takes the place of xbow/staff and does it better. The only benefit you have from xbow staff vs spear is that you get more sustain from using rex chimera. Overall stat spread, and dps is just better on staff/spear.

This is how I see it. PVE doesn't matter since Staff is currently crushing everything as staff/Bow and staff/Dagger. For 95% of people, PvP is B tier. Why? You need to be able to position yourself exceptionally well, and for that, you need more than NA experience. You would need 5-6 months of playing staff to be able to position properly to do DMG and survive. For you and some other S-tier staff players, this could be A tier pvp spec, but most other people are Rock Hard B tier.

I can't argue with you. For most people, this is not the weapon setup to play as it has a harder skill requirement compared to daggers. However, I want you to remember the type of game we are playing. This game is a year old in Korea; its better they give a weapon with a high skill requirement that another easy weapon such as greatsword.

@AmdyFTW might be due to the current limits on runes synergies in global You can try replacing the hit gloves or the hit helmet with another piece of shadow harvester to see if it gives you enough stats to makeup for lower rune synergies

i would give the passive synergy a 9/10 Only thing missing is sustain. the dmg is insane though
