@flguy32501 We average 25-30 lawns a day with a 3-4 man crew. Of corse, these lawns are mostly residential and rarely larger than a half acre or so... Yours is impressive!

So you say to charge $1 per minute even if you have a crew with four people working or are you saying to charge $1 per min per person working? ex; it takes 4 people 30 min to do one lawn that should be $120 right? If you charged $30 for a lawn that took 4 people to mow in 30 minutes you would be broke and out of business.

I did lawn maintenance for 10 years. Could do 25 yards in a day with 3 people. My best was 32 with 4. Almost all were subdivisions average 1/4-1/3 acre lots. Key was almost no traveling- less than 10 miles for the 25 yard route. My # 1 tip is to set boundaries and don't cross for any reason. 4-10 square mile area is more than enough to keep a crew of 3 busy.

Also you have to figure in travel time. If I had 5 clients that were 5-10 miles apart from each other, or 15 clients next door to each other, then I would take the 15 that would pay half.

gluing directly into the valve is never a good idea. thread a male adapter into the valve and make your glue joint there, it will make any future maintenance MUCH easier. wrap the male adapter with thread tape, go around about five times and tighten with a pair of channel locks. it will not leak guaranteed

charge what ever the market will bear. No economy is the same in each town. works for me. People dont always go with the least expensive service. you get what you pay for.

I charge extra if the client is a time burglar. If they insist on talking to me I charge a consultation fee $25 minimum. One time I punched a guy but that was when I was in jr. high. I need to quit talking a couple of sentences early.

i usually charge 35 to 40 depending on the zise of the lawn and the size of the backyard, also take in consideration the space availible, what i mean by that is the size of the back door, check if biger mowers fit in there if not thats more work which means higher rate
