I believe it’s their standard reso-cigar box guitar. I just had them add the embellishments like the pearl accents. Talk to Todd and ask for the “Aaron Williams!” It’s a great guitar. Best wishes!

Awesome sounds my good man! I just got finished building a homemade tricone resonator box guitar if you’d like to take a look here on my KZbin. It’s a double course three string on a six string neck. Anyway, I just liked and subscribed because this was awesome. Keep up the greatness!

That's a gorgeous guitar Aaron. You play it beautifully. CBGs come alive as soon as the slide touches the strings. I have a fretless 2 string chugger with a single coil pick and a fretted 3 string with dual Snake Oil mini humbuckers. I built these CBGs myself. I love the things. In the next week or two, I'm building two more. One is going to be a fretless 3 stringer with a lipstick pickup somewhere between the neck and center position. The other is going to be a fretted 3 stringer with a mini humbucker in the neck position. CBGs are loads of fun and with a bit of effort, anyone can build one. A full mechanized workshop in not necessary either. I make mine the old fashioned way, with a minimal amount of tools. The builds just take a little longer to complete. The extra effort is well worth it because they look and sound fantastic.

Andy Mitchell very cool. I’m always amazed at the creativity people have when building CBG. I’ve always enjoyed how alive the guitars come. Nothing like those first few notes.

Hello !, I do not play the guitar, I play the violin. But I love these cigarbox guitar. My idea is to play blues and rock. What is the best option, three or four strings? or tenor guitar acoustic? Thank you very much!

Jose García that's a tough call: 4 or 3 string cigar box guitar. I prefer the 4 string version because I can play a lot of the same riffs I play with my standard tuned 6 string guitar. With that being said, I recently played a 3 string version and it was fabulous. My advice would be to get a 4 string cigar box guitar if you plan to play in a band. But if you're playing solo either would work just the same. Good luck and keep rocking! The fun part is trying them all out!

I understand that with 4 strings you can make more different chords? Thank you very much!

Sweet!! People often ask me what my ThinBucker™ flat pickups sound like, and this is a perfect example of matching a hand wound pickup to a well constructed instrument. Cheers...Dan
