From now on, this is my favorite version of the motive, along the original one. In all honesty, I was unaware that you can make a harpsichord alone sound like an actual orchestra.

Is this that instrument that supposedly had double black keys? One for C# and one for D-flat and so on.
@TheEternalDreamers11 күн бұрын
The harpsichord had a few variations. the main difference is that the harpsichord has no dynamics (the string is plucked rather than struck) so the notes will always be the same volume. This lead to the invention of the Piano-forte (soft loud) now just called the piano. The piano's construction allowed both for more volume and the ability to play notes Piano (softly or Forte (loudly) and the range in-between. some versions had double keys. the harpsichord was also part of the transition from well-temperament (tuning based on the key) to equal temperament (more modern tuning)

I can't tell if this belongs in an Atari side-scroller or a film that centers around an artefact belonging to the Hapsburgs circa 1698, but I'd like either one.

I think it'd be interesting to see a harpsichord arrangement of a song along with a modern bass track and other atmospheric accompaniment. Also I like the complexity of this particular video. It feels like it has more complexity than some others. More chords and multiple layers.

After commenting this I clicked on your "Girls just wanna have fun" arrangement and was tickled to hear the drums and stuff along with it. A lot like what I was thinking of.

We do some with some modern instruments worked in. Sometimes it’s based on the arrangement. Take a look at the cover of “jump” we released last week. That has a modern bass guitar and stuff in it

I rode this ride a lot when I was a kid, it’s a nostalgic song, but I gotta admit, I feel bad for people who had to suffer that, but I’m immune and this song lives rent free in my head

I’m always surprised at just how well some of these modern songs work on a harpsichord. I know I sound like a broken record, but I truly do love all these covers you do.

Your Taylor Swift harpsichord covers are always my favorites! Taylor is probably my favorite singer but I love the “old” sound of a harpsichord in more classical music and soundtrack music. Having the two put together is just A+++. 😊

This sounds so cute! The harpsichord has that Romeo and Juliet feel to it due to the baroque instrumentation.
