Whoever presented this can't speak English. Almost every answer is incorrect. Why do you past this??
@mikekurtz58685 күн бұрын
True, it should be identified as a present continuous test. ++ Sentence "He is meeting his friends office work" is of course a syntax error. Did you mean to say "He is meeting his office friends at work"? Just trying how discern your intent.

Many sentences are phrased in a maner that allows for more than one correct verb-tense answer. Question: #1: Answer A also correct. #3: Answer B also. #4: Answer B also. #5: Answer A also. #6: Answer A also. #7: Answer B also. #9: Answer B also. #10: Answer C also. #11: Answer C also. #12: Answer A also. #13: Answer C also. #14: Answer A totally incorrect. ""We has" is never correct. There would be two correct choices, either "We better not talk too much." or "We had better not talk too much." #16: Answer C also. Also the word is spelled "carols," and uncapitalized.

All answers were correct, except one. "I enquired into the matter" would be correct.

Excellent test; just one error though. "I inquired into the matter" would be correct. "Of" or any other additional preposition would of course be incorrect.

Question: #3: I believe a better choice would be "insist" or "require." "Request" seems a bit too soft or flexible. #16: Answers A and C are themselves totally synonymous.

++ "Rahul and his friend WERE also invited to the party." ++ "Either of the two dresses looks good." or "Either of the two dresses SHALL LOOK good." There is no cicumstance where "shall looks" would be correct. ++ "Each and every member has to vote." Answer C is incorrect. ++ "Half of the class WAS empty." Answer C is incorrect. ++ "Physics is different to understand." Did you mean "difficult to understand"? ++ "My mother, along with other, was worried." Did you mean "others"? ++ "She need not a lot of stress." Did you mean "needs"? ++ "None of the candidates have responded." Strictly speaking, " none" is singular, so the correct answer would be " None of the candidates has responded."

++ "I was reading a book at 9:00 pm." Omit "night", it is redundant, 9:00 pm means night. ++ "She loved chocolates" also correct. ++ "June" all months and weekdays are always capitalized. ++ "The boys have/had gone to school." Either would be correct. ++ "He has been/had been studying for six hours." Either would be correct. "Has been" if he is still currently studying; "had been" if he was but no longer is now studying.

++ "Juan" is of course capitalized. Also, "spoke" was misspelled. ++ As the question is phrased, either answer B or D could be correct. Also, the correct possessive spelling would be " grandparents' " . house." ++ "All students [plural] must obey... " ++ Either a semicolon after landslide, or capitalize "you." ++ "We will definitely look into the matter," Note the comma after "matter", and the use of quotation marks to indicate the actual words spoken.
