Thanks buddy, we were using the "new charts" but seems alot of folk use the old ones, so when i got home i had to go back through and use the old ones to get the weights and go with that to keep people happy, i was using ron Thompson axcellorator but they are discontinued now unless you find a second hand one for sale locally, reel wise, diawa BG8000 Loaded with 60lb 8 strand ( no need to buy expensive) i was using spectra braid off ebay. Rigs wise i can easy do you a video and upload to youtube for you to copy if need be, century T1000 Something similar depending on your budget, just has to be a tough rod with alot of back bone. I really like it, some more testing to do but its casting 6 and 7oz leads there with bait and it feels absolutely fine

We shouldn't have to video it but unfortunately we did get a visit from the owner who is very annoyed with the amount of litter thats being left there from fisherman so it was our way of being able to prove we have cleaned up and that if there was anything there after we left, it wasn't us, shame really but this is the world we live in, i also love it up there!

Hi buddy, thanks for the feedback mate its much appreciated, we've had them at different times of the year, i dont think it really matters too much up there with the deprh, September time seems to have been best for most catches

I’ve seen some vids with Century T700 & 900’s being used as they say a glass tip rod helps play the fish as it absorbs some of the Skates powerful runs

I couldn't comment on rods other than what i use, me personally i dont like glass tips but that's my own opinion aslong as you know the rod is strong enough the drag on the reel will do some of the work for you

The whole suit seems to be great, the bib and braces are quite thick, jacket not as thick but didn't let any rain or wind through i like the hood design aswell, certainly better than my imax suit etc ,thanks for watching, much appreciated

There is a hole on each side ithe the rudder you need to get someone to hold the rudder handle that you steer with in the middle sticking out the side of kayak and tie those ropes onto each hole, i added some black gaffer tape once tied. If you stuggle, check out chris's channel (on the drop fishing) he has a assembly video on these

@HairyPollocksfishing Thanks! After I've got them connected and had the handle held in place and connected, when you move it to the right or left slightly, there's still slack line, but the line I've connected is tight. It's like there's still a little bit of slack when moving it left or right before the actual rudder moves. Is this like this with yours ?

@tonytajine i really pulled mine tight, i did find after a while they slacken off a bit so may need tightened again in the future ince the line stretches abit. Hope this helps

@HairyPollocksfishing It does thank you. I tried to save some money and bought and ex-display model.. I'm thinking this has slackened then over time and with demos. Any idea how I'd go about tightening whatever it is internally? ( if that makes sense )

@tonytajine you cant tighten internally mate just undo you knots at pull even tighter, the lines are connected directly to the handle buddy
