I disagree with rushing philosophy in most cases i love to play aimo but i usally pick it up turn 6 or 7 doing Ph. First like this can really hurt your economy

You forgot that they have the worst super unit of the game, and that the correct way to play Acquarion is by moving a lot and doing fast guerrilla moves with tridention. Not to mention that Acquarion can be lethal in naval invasions because of that but can also be countered very easily by the fact that their unique units are very vulnerable. So this tribe's advantage is mobility on water and therefore fast expansion in the early game, but their weakness is defence. There's no such thing as an overpowered tribe in this game since all tribes are well balanced and it all comes down to personal preference in playstyle In this case they are very weak at the beginning, have a MASSIVE advantage in the mid-game, but once the other tribes manage to counter the tridents in the late game and establish naval dominance, Aquarion becomes an easy target. Also remember that tridents are costly, so this tribe is not overpowered at all.

Pretty much no matter which map, size, tribe i play. Im buying a unit turn 0. 70 games in and 1600 elo. I almost never lose

I love the idea of a Kickoo strategy guide, but this video is out of date. The tech tree is different. Fishing is a tier one tech

You appear to prioritise extra warriors a t3 rather than an economic tech on t5 which is more mainstream

Great catch! I did leave out Exida, thank you. Exida are unlocked with the mathematics technology and are essentially catapults with splash damage and poison. The Exida has more defense but deals less primary damage than the Catapult. The two units share many weaknesses, like slow movement and a need for protection.

I dont want do be mean but you should learn more about the game before giving advice. You train waaaaay too many warriors on the early game where you could have saved those stars to get technologies like riding, farming or even forestry to either spam your opponent with a good army or focus your economy towards fast giants.

No offense taken at all! In my opinion those warriors are critical to explore the map and expand quickly in the early game to capture villages faster than your opponent. Once I have a strong footprint I focus more on upgrading my cities and tech. This strategy always works great for me online and in friendly games. I am positive there are better strategies than my own but this works great for me.

As you climp elo you'll realize that many warriors is pointless. For exemple on turn 6 you should have taken riding and trained a rider instead of 3 warriors which you don't need for the ones on your capital and your 2nd city

At last! Someone else that loves Ai-Mo! Evidently we're the only ones that see the potential philosiphy research (no other guides...), that said I've been in situations where it was more cost effective to get hunting or org and upgrade a city and pay 10 stars for philosiphy later 🤔 (specifically if you're unlucky and don't find a village on turn 2).

Absolutely agree with you! Most decisions in the game are situational. I try to put more emphasis on that in my more recent videos
