Thank you for posting this excellent interpretation by Lucia Popp. I especially like when she holds the "high C" note at the end to its quarter length as written. Too many singers hold that note way too long (particularly Renee Fleming) as if to show off their vocal range and not convey the music as Dvorak composed it.

I love Viardot-Garcia's compositions so much!! Especially for voice and piano, wow. Such understanding of both instruments.

Gosh, Roger Vignoles is such a good accompanist. Incredible sensitivity to the singer every time.
