Oh yeah, you can compare it to the various demos on youtube if you want to try and identify any mixing differences. Off the top of my head, I tried not to mess with mix of any songs excessively, but I would touch up the sound quality at some parts so it all sounded consistent. Honestly it's been so long since I did the actual splicing work on these that it's hard to remember the particular demos I put together. Here's a couple things I can remember tho: -Maybe all the Way (from Weezma) is shortened to account for it just being an instrumental. -The Rules of Life edit you pointed out already -Sweet Love is heavily edited, mixing parts of "Sweet Love 2 2" and "Sweet Love v02" to buildup to the final chorus where it switches to the "Sweet Love v02" demo entirely.

I edited the back cover to be more legible, but I don't know who made the original cover. it was definitely someone on r/Weezer though. I'll update this comment if I find out who

There's a couple different versions of the lyrics spread throughout the demos. In one, the end of verse 2 goes "Did they OD on LSD?" I used the one with the lyric "OD on PCP" because it's actually impossible to OD on LSD.

The Sea Opera was a project (or as per Cuomo, a group of songs he worked on with Shawn Everett) that was in the works before 2014's Everything Will Be Alright In The End. This is only a rough reconstruction made with demos from that era. We know the general theming of the album, which is what the description and fan cover were based on, and we definitely know Ballad Of the Briney was one of the songs from that project.
