I have a question. Do you not wash your face or do any skin care before or during the time you have the freckles? I have been trying to make these henna freckles work but basically as soon as I wash my face they are gone... So I am just wondering if you have altered your skincare routine in order to keep them longer or... I might be doing it completely wrong? Or I got a bad product ( I live in Japan so I ordered what I could find through the amazon here). Any clarification would be so helpful <3 They look soooo good on you!

with my current skincare routine, I don't wash my face with face wash every day (usually every other day)! i find my skin gets very dry if I wash it too often, so this ends up working in my favor in terms of the freckles lasting longer. They typically only last about 3-4 days though, so def don't expect them to last too long. It's also totally dependent on how long you leave the henna on, and your skin type!!

@@michaellaei Do it carefully, on a soaked cotton pad and giving small touches. Be careful with your eyes, it's the only important thing. Lemon is very good for the skin, don't be afraid

Thanks so much! :) I like to do two layers so that there's more depth in the freckles, making them look more naturally. Sometimes, if I just do one layer, it looks like i just drew them on (i know technically they're fake and drawn on, but I want them to look more real haha).

i think i used a brown henna, the company i buy from only offers one color! i would def do some research on what red vs brown henna looks like on similar skin tones to yours, that helped me a lot :)

i actually applied it first! it’s a spray :) the last thing i applied is a turmeric exfoliating solution that’s meant to be applied at the end of your routine!

I got my henna tube at an authentic Indian store . Indian owned , for $5 per tube is that cheap? It burned a tiny bit after I applied but then it stopped.

I think henna is usually inexpensive! i've never experienced burning, it could totally just depend on your skin's preferences

I just saw your video. I just wonder... WHY WHY WHY???? Your lovely face needs nothing. Yesterday I saw a young girl with fake freckles all over her face. Looked awful. Looked fake. Looked more like a face of blackheads. She spoilt her look.

I just got some henna and patch tested it on my arm, I only left it on for 10 minutes so it came out pretty light but my concern was that it was orange, if I leave it on for hours will it be a more natural colour or does this just have to do with my henna being pigmented orange?
