As a public works professional, I implore you NOT to put the fat down the drain. Google fatbergs . It’s a real thing! Not to mention your own plumbing. Hot water isn’t hot forever and it will solidify in the waste stream whether in your own sewer lead, septic system, or public sewer/pump stations/etc

This was an excellent week. So glad I decided to can the meat and the Italian Beef leftovers. I see a meat marinade in my future!

I wished i had seen this video before trying my rubarb jelly... tried 4x to process using all types of jelling agents, now realizing i, should probably not mixed old pomonas, gele atin powder and liquid pectin. (each time i used a different agent)And I think I even doubled the recipe. Also it looks like, as i saw in your video i poured the pectin sugar mixture in to quickly and did not mix it down enough. yoiiur videos are very informative. Thank you !

This was so fun. I usually only make jam or something with the fruit I can. This is the first that I just canned peaches diced and sliced and I will say I will definitely do this again!
