Artist's Statement
I hope to continue to explore death, love, and family, major themes that centuries and generations have and still wrestle with, through the wide gamut of human emotions. I want to explore my own thoughts and feelings and contribute a small part to the human experience. Therefore, my stories will have an individual perspective, but connect with people because of our shared humanity.

Films and TV shows like Ted Lasso, New Amsterdam, Minari, The Sound of Metal, Beef, Monkey Man, EEAAO, that show a struggle and prevalence against the status quo are the most interesting to me. They make you feel as though you can change what’s going on against all odds. They don't always depict happy endings and the constant turmoil of what it’s like to be human.

Projects like those are why I hope to tell these stories mainly through film which combines all the arts to move people deeply. It’s the most collaborative, and in my opinion, the most empathetic.

Wow, I look at this just a year later and it makes me cringe! I apologize to anyone who sees this. Trust me, skip the talking head and just watch the parts with music.
