Jamie inked me today, and he was by far the most gentle, most professional and meticulous artist I've met. He listened, showed me his progress, and offered terrific suggestions that I hadn't considered. If you're fortunate enough to live close by, Tribute is a first-rate establishment, all class and no attitude. Even if you're further away, it's worth a road trip to visit such experienced, friendly artists.

At the end of the day, it's about the ink and the people wearing it. If someone has the passion and the talent, why block their path just because they took a different route? Let's focus on mentoring and uplifting each other instead of closing doors. The tattoo community thrives when we support growth and innovation together.

Very well put, there is no progress without some change in one way or another.

Wondering, why you got a neck tattoo, before other areas. I'm sure others have asked?

Personally I think if you have a drawing or art background & you want to be a tattoo artist do it right. The aspect of going to school to get certified is the right way to do it. Also getting trained by a proper well established artists is better for you. By having several specific artists that specialize in one style teaching the students & learning that way they can be well-rounded artist in all styles to better hone their craft. Do it in stages - day one education, fundamentals and line work. Then progress from there until you make it through all styles then you get your certificate.

That is very good and you're doing all the teams for everyone. I know it's frustrating and probably time consuming especially for the people actually making the shirts.

That's usually a way to tell if a band actually cares. A band that just wants money will go the cheapest route for the clothing items, and then go cheap for the screen printing as well and you'll end up with a Gildan tee that falls apart during the first wash. A band that cares will make less shirts at a higher quality so that they don't fall apart. If a band is selling pajamas, booty shorts, swim trunks, grinders, coozies, and keychains stay away. All of that stuff is super cheap and the band is probably greedy
