I've never seen that woman at the same place on stage for more than a second. Pure raw energy. Scientists should have studied her case, we would have made huge progress on quantum physics.

Prince supported many artists that had been forgotten, I remember Mint Condition said Prince took them all over the world.

Sorry to say that I never heard of Ms. Jones until she performed a Knicks halftime set at MSG. I almost left to the consessions right before her performance. When they began rolling out the instruments onto the floor I was intrigued as I love live music performances. She came out for 10-12 minutes and really worked that floor! She was Dynamo! I looked her up to see that it took her until her later years to realize her dream as a performer. I found It very inspiring. I later looked to see if she had any scheduled upcoming performances in my area. Sadly I found that she had just passed. I couldn't believe it. I was very sad for that piece of news but I was inspired at how this woman never gave up on her dream. She may not have reached the pinnacle of successes but she met her goal and fulfilled her life's dream. She has a name to be remembered and left a legacy that her family can be proud of. Bravo Ms.Sharon Jones. RIP 🙏🏾✊🏾💜

you can count on one hand the number of times that Prince came out onto the stage EARLY just to play along with the opening act... Sharon Jones UNDENIABLE powerful energy and soul and talent that was completely infectious and couldn't be ignored... forever grateful to the Dap Kings for exposing Sharon (and Charles Bradley) to the world

I think it's the amazing Hagar Ben Ari at the bass. You might know her from Corden's Late Late Show. Not 100% sure, though, so apologies if I'm wrong.
