Ik denk dat een ieder mens die 24 uur met deze man opgesloten zou zitten het prima naar zijn zin zou hebben.😊

Lucky me. I dont speak Dutch, but i can speak German. So i turned the Dutch subtitle on and read all words which were similar to German. It helps me understand 30%. ;)

This is incredible! I'm a native Dutch speaker so I can understand everything. And thank God for that, because Matthias's story is truly remarkable! His youth and everything that he's been through, and to come out of ALL that so strong, loving, wise and crazy talented....Just wow. Also great he has such a good click with Theo (who he'd met before while playing in an early career movie) , and is a huge fan of The Dark Knight & Heath's Joker (like me, and well...the rest of us). All power to you beautiful, down to earth, honest and wonderfull Matthias: may you stay this humble and kind and become one of the Greats, like your beloved actor father Julien!

This is my absolute favorite interview based on historical content. I have seen this either in English or English sub-titles over a year and a half ago. I know so much about him. Those first 6 years must have been full of love and care at home. His mpther looks so loving. He is such a remarkable man.

I realize certain roles may call for very short hair, but I believe he looks better in longer hair. He's so great looking, even if he combs his with his hands, he still looks great. He is only 40 yrs, but his size and intellect allows him to carry toles for 10 years out, if he so chooses. He;s so great.

I know Matthias is talking about the feelings he has buried regarding his feelings for his father that his woman professor who found a placee for him to feel comfortable with this surpression of these feelings and one day he would find a way to emotionally address these feelings.

I mean confidence in his own skin., He has great comfort in his acting choices and his need to take a long or short getaway. When their is one person to consider, lifes' choice are so easy.

Matthias is so full of confident in his own skin, everyone seems to like him, He's such a special man..

I googled information about the Dutch. They tend to be tall. Both these men are tall. Matthias has a little bit of dutch in him genetically. so perhaps that's why he is tall. Both is parents are about 4 inches shorter than him.

This was a wonderful interview. Metthias must have found it to be a great release and some therapy, perhaps. Love him.

Matthias admits he has buried a great deal, and may address it later in life. One has to admire his inner strength.

Matthias is so comfortable in his own skin. Exercise is such an important partt of his life. It must keep him mentally sound.

Matthias has the experience of a loving man and wonderful loving mother that his step sisters and brother had. His brother Bruno is the oldest and may not have been affected by other family life. I cannot tell or understand. Matthias seems so stable..

Maybe Matthias was better off in boarding school that his step family being exposed to his father when he was not well. He and his mother brought his father out of a coma after dealing with bi=polar disease. He forgot everything from his past life as a father and most of his acting career.

Matthias step sister was so distressed , during an argument with her gather jumped out of a window in utter distress. Another sister died of cancer. His lawyer srep brother is still alive. Matthias must have had such a stabilizing childhood with his mother

Matthias is speaking dutch for this interview. His father was bi=polar. One never knows when such a disorder will manifest itself. His mother was such a beauty but was not married to his father. Sometimes it's difficult to understand why he stayed in that married.

Matthias only knew his father when he was 8 yrs old. His father was married to another woman.

Matthias went to boarding school from 6 yrs to 13 yrs.

This is one of the best interviews I've seen. I saw it with sub titles. Matthias is always wonderful. The interviewer was well prepared and was able to claim a great deal of information about Mattias' life.

Ik heb echt net Maryland gezien. En de hele film draaid echt om Matthias's z'n rol. Hij draagt de hele film. Zulke intressante uitspraken en kijk op het leven en acteren. Zal inderdaad onmogelijk zijn om hem te moeten vertolken...

Zo grappig en intressant. Hij klinkt nog zo Vlaams als hij de deur binnenkomt. Maar zo een paar zinnen verder veranderd hij overduidelijk naar het Nederlands... Zelfs echte harde G's komen om de hoek kijken! Geniale man!!!
