Assalamualaikum brother. Your sermons are dynamic and powerful. "Don't play around. Don't mix people's rights up. You can't control yourself this is another wife, this is a hard night, {cuz u had the first wife earlier), she deserves something. Don't do that if you can't walk straight. Then you shouldn't have two wives."

In my city kolkata India i find many of our ahle hadees/salafi brothers who hold this view that people who don't pray are kaafirs or people who visit the graves the sufis are also mushriks but at the same time they never utter a word when these same people do the zabiha and sell chicken mutton or beef . For them this is halal and now these same people become muslims because they know declaring them to be kaafirs will land them into a big problem, majority of people are already hindus in india and now whoever is left , amongst them majority of muslims the sufis are mushriks and then a tiny minority of muslims who are left are either deobandis or ahle hadees and many amongst these people do not pray daily salah...who is left now?😂😂😂😂 so its easy for them to turn a blind eye and keep eating their zabiha... is this not hypocrisy?

Dude, it's too bad you're channeling your talent into interpreting a book that seems tailored for those with the intellect of a frog. Perhaps you could apply your skills to uncover truths not explicitly covered in the Quran, like computers, AI, and Elon Musk in order to serve your community better. To help you with your struggle: "The existence of dinosaurs is supported by extensive fossil records and geological findings. These discoveries provide tangible evidence of creatures that lived millions of years ago. While the Quran does not explicitly mention dinosaurs, it acknowledges the diversity of life created by the Creator and in my personal opinion the only valid scientific quote in the Quran" Surah An-Nur (24:45) mentions: "And Allah has created every [living] creature from water..." This verse can be interpreted to encompass all forms of life, including those that existed in prehistoric times (including big flying birds).

To the extent that people place importance on being called a scholar it can lead to conceitedness. We should value being called Muslims or slaves of Allah (SWT) above all else. Ultimately the word scholar is subjective since there is no known Islamic definition of the word. I also think it’s an act of humility we should aspire towards to never call ourselves a scholar but if someone chooses to call you one just graciously accept it and say it is only by the will of Allah (SWT) that I know anything at all. Now when it comes to being called a Shaykh, an Imam or any other official position within the ummah then we should have standards for how we name people because institutions and Islamic criteria exist to confirm these statuses (for example, every Muslim father is the Imam of his household). But calling yourself a scholar can be stroking your own ego.

لا حول و لا قوة الا بالله العلي العظيم Imam Al Tahawi - 239AH: العقيدة الطحاوية Point 46 “He is Exalted above any limits, ends, supports, limbs, or tools. He is not contained by six directions like the rest of created things.” وتعالى - عن الحدود والغايات والأركان والأعضاء والأدوات ، لا تحويه الجهات الست كسائر المبتدعات Imam Al Bayhaqi: كتاب الأسماء والصفات Vol 2, Pg: 287 “It is not correct to comprehend Allah by being in a place. And some of our companions cited as evidence in negating the place for Allah in the words of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “You are the Manifest, and there is nothing above you.” And you are the Batin, so there is nothing below you.” And if there was nothing above him and nothing below him, Therefore Allah cant be in a place (Makan)“ فلا يصح إدراكه بالكون في مكان. Vol 18, Pg: 216 “Allah is described it with exaltedness and greatness, Not with places, Directions, and limits (Hadd), Because they are the attributes of bodies. Hands are only raised in dua to the sky…. Just as Allah made the Kaaba the direction for Salah, And He was in eternity. Before the creation of space and time. He has no place or time.”

It’s quite simple really, you can also explain it with this example: If someone is born with one or more limbs missing, they have a physical deficiency, because they have less limbs than someone with all of them. However, just because you say this person has a deficiency, does that automatically justify oppression and wrongdoing towards the person? No, of course not, you’re simply describing how they are. Allah is our Creator, and so He knows us better than we do, He knows best the nature with which we have been created. This is what Rasulullah ﷺ informed us of, the nature of women. No one is being blamed for anything, no one is justifying oppression and wrongdoing, it’s just stating a fact. You can even bring the most feminist female psychologist in the world and even she will tell you that women generally rely on emotional reasoning instead of logical reasoning, unlike the majority of men. Similarly, in Surah an-Nisa ayah 28, man is described as being weak, the tafsir says this is because he is impatient in abstaining from intimacy, and Sufyan ath-Thawri ر حمه الله also explained that man is weak because he struggles to lower his gaze when a woman walks passed. Is this ayah insulting men? Is it condoning injustice towards men? Does it mean men are inferior solely due to being men? No, Allah is simply telling us how He created us men. That’s all.

It is not necessary to wear a thobe. The Prophet (pbuh) dressed the same way as his own people. He did not start a fashion revolution nor require anyone to change their attire unless it was immodest or something that was uniquely tied to the practice of kaffirs. By this logic, we should ride mules to work because the Prophet did it and it would "mark us out" as Muslims as opposed to kaffirs who drive cars.

With all due respect to the wise brother, this question could have been answered more straightforwardly. The issue isn’t whether it is kafir to hold citizenship from a non Muslim nation-citizenship itself is a relatively modern phenomenon that did not exist in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and for those with western citizenship today we cannot control where we were born. This question also does not imply that we must condemn all non believers as unworthy, extending condemnation to family as well. What the question does make relevant is where we choose to live permanently regardless of our citizenship status. My wife and I were born in america and left permanently over four years ago because of the chronic immorality and wickedness of that nation. We are Muslims now but we left long before we took shahada. We haven’t been back since 2020 and have no intention of ever returning inshallah. It is this possibility which all Muslims of economic means must confront themselves with. How is it as a Muslim anyone can voluntarily live in a nation not only heavily populated with disbelievers but the type of disbelievers who are complicit in global genocide of Muslims (americans abetting genocide in Palestine), construct entire economies off the eating of riba (interest rates), prop up media empires that thrive on the rampant demonization of Islam and Muslims, and very matter of factly suppress or frown upon basic Islamic practices like the making the call to prayer or wearing hijab (profiling). It is these things and a multitude of others, not mere western citizenship, that compels this question and it would be disingenuous to act as though there aren’t millions of Muslims in western nations (Europe and America primarily) who have more than enough means to leave but lack the desire to do so because of privilege, fear, a misplaced desire to assimilate or some other reason which essentially boils down to avoiding the clear instruction of the Quran and Hadith. As Muslims this is a critical matter of how seriously we take the protection of our Iman. And it is especially important for the Muslim scholars and leadership in western nations to make living in Muslim nations as a goal for all Muslims whether it is doable by all or not. May Allah (SWT) guide us to make decisions in alignment with the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW) so that His will be pleased.

No This is racism. The prophet himself had braids. Allah made every human perfect. He has made no mistake in his creation. We are not fools.. we know that the African hair is spongy, and grows with bulk. This is perfectly acceptable for a human to have deadlocks. But on the contrary, portrayal is important. If in your area criminals use them as you have brought up, the wise thing to do is to refrain from associating with them through portrayal. One’s perception is one’s reality, and not everyone is fair or nonviolent. With this being said dreadlocks are fine, but if it can lead to you being profiled by police, or put you in danger.. please refrain.
