Have an unreleased 8 track demo with the 4 tracks from “The Red Demos” + 4 more songs… Track list goes: 01. Leisure Suite (this version) 02. Mushaboom (this version) 03. The Eastern Shore (this version) 04. Unknown “saving decisions for now” 05. Intuition (different take) 06. Unknown “Blame confidence for playing rare… I love your friends, you pretend, you pretend…” 07. Unknown (same as track 4 different take) 8. Intuition (this version) My wife got it from a common friend of Feist and her in Berlin around 2003-2004. Fell in love with that demo and was quite disappointed when they were released in their final rearrangements. Still 100% feeling in this demo ❤

This version of The Water is so good! These demos are so different and interesting! I love the sound she was going for. This is somehow more melancholic than the final versions. There's some cool 60's/70's vibes that I enjoy thoroughly. Thanks for sharing! :)

Was watching a show on PBS and this version was playing and was instantly filled with emotions and deep love of this song… it was right before the album dropped so I was deeply anticipating it just to own this song in particular. Then 1, 2, 3, 4 came… then I Feel It All came… To finally have the album in hand? A slow descent into a maddeningly intense love for each song as it graced my virgin ears… to then arrive at the studio version of this? There is no concise phrase or explanation that could ever convey my cosmic, elephantine sense of betrayal and disgust. An infinite disappointment…

Thank you for having a description that includes the year. An AOL chat room buddy sent me this mp3 ca. 2004 and I’ve cherished it ever since. I think she also sent me Broken Social Scene’s “Lover’s Spit,” which has Feist on it.

I had no idea this was not the official version of this song until just now as I tried to find Intuition on Spotify but found a version different than what I knew... this one hits hard... :)
