Does anyone know how to find a pdf of this particular version? I’m trying to use it for my Bluecoats audition next year but all of the results I get are not good copies

Yes, he must have been a talented guy! (I never met him - he passed away in 1968). I can't quite imagine what it took to do this back in the 30's...

Love the swinging first movement, Karl. Makes me smile. The Pond has a beautiful echo. Mournful and contemplative. And Sake is a great finish with dissonance and flare!

In a piece that is an hommage to Tchaikovsky to have an hommage to the Cadenza is totally meta... those octave trills! nice work and some mind blowing playing.

We're did you get this arrangement?
@KarlKramerhorn5 жыл бұрын
Hi anthony, I wrote this cadenze for my first public performance of the gliere concerto sometime in the early 90's. It leans on or borrows from the cadenzas by Polekh, Buyanovsky and Baumann in addition to the original source material from the concerto itself. Thanks for listening!
