I was there in the 1970's. I managed to lose an oar whilst out fishing in a small Dingy which was provided with the Chalet we stopped in Luckily I was rescued by a Fishing boat who's light reflected off my paddle I was very lucky and won't forget Achiltibuie and the kind men who rescued me.
