Just finished flying Economy on one of these contraptions today from Australia to Los Angeles. The seat comfort and overall experience was horrible. Foreign airlines do a much better job with Economy seat configuration and overall comfort and service.

It’s a shame that it will change to the OASIS retrofit. Management should update their interior of their 737s and a321s. Passenger’s really miss the IFEs. Watching the safety demo is the best part and sets the mood, having the convenience of not draining ur battery to watch a movie, and the live world map. AA let’s be #1 again!!!

Thanks for the video.. I'm flying on a 787-9 Dreamliner DOH to Philadelphia next week.. 18 hr flight, and this video helped me a lot to get a better seat ...❤❤

I miss this interior. Despite Airways's flaws and shortcomings, their product was way better than what AA is giving to their people. Those seats were WAY more comfortable than these new thinner seats that all the carriers have implemented.

Same as the in service A321-253s. To the crews that are Taiwanese South Koreans Filipinos and Hong Kongers they would rather prefer their own National versions over AA A321-253s these are A321-271N CI🇹🇼 KE🇰🇷 PR🇵🇭 A321-251N CX🇭🇰 BR🇹🇼. Remember they have ptv's if I were the management I would start using they have in addition to the A321-253 that are the XLR version

Well with Russia's airspace remaining closed to US airlines, making these long flights work is tough. Airlines may lack available equipment with the range required to take an alternative route, or it could be that the higher cost of operation due to the increased fuel consumption makes them less than optimal for now. The direct route last around 14 hours. Now it can be up to 16 or 17 hours taking routes to avoid Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, and other nations in that region. Airlines have moved their Indian routes to coastal cites however Air India still uses Russia Airspace so it has no problem operating the route and many others in North America

777s were all made before the boeing merger with mcdonnell douglass, the 777 is immensely redundant (i've talked to people who've flown it before and they praise it a lot and talk about how safe it is themselves), even 737s are safe they've been flying for over 20 years, anything made after the merger though is more iffy since there was a change in mindset (from engineering centric to profit centric after the merger)
