My exhusband told me, we will still be connected. The first time his wife came for me i checked her, and checked myself, because you not going to have me fighting over you with a woman i don't know because of her insecurities with me. We were married for 30 yrs, divorced 14 now and that line has remained that way. I have not seen his face for that long. Our kids are 35,33,19,17. To this day he still didn't see my face. Boundaries are needed.

Nope it’s not ok. First off my exes don’t have access to me and 2nd if I ever help an ex with anything my current lady will know and will be present when I do it. You have to have boundaries in a relationship and keeping secrets will put a huge dent in that
