Poor effect You rolled 5, 20 and 15 yet used the card AFTER the number rolled plus talking too slowly and making the effect much longer than it needed to be Not good at all

@@sren1446 they start in the setup face up with one of the matching cards, but when you dribble the cards and turn over the top section of the pack, they're then face down and it's the other matching card that is face up. 👍.

On the first deck, watch for a double lift. The first card he turns over is the 9 of spades. Notice he slides it back. He is actually sliding two cards back. The 9 Spades face up with the 10 Clubs face down. I can't figure out the second deck. I do see a bend in the deck so maybe the card placement is marked. But I can't figure out how he forces the 10 clubs to the 17th position. Part of me thinks he got lucky. the bent card happened to be in the 17th position. If it was before, we would have done a false pull (e.g. pull the second from the top card rather than the top card), if was after he would have done a multiple card lift. I could be entirely wrong on the handling of the second deck.

It seems like sometimes you do tutorials. Is this one a self working illusion?
@TdyYrLoveАй бұрын
He explains the trick in the description - "The Gilbreath principle". My assumption is the original deck is sorted with alternating colors (red, black, red, black... etc.). One riffle shuffle and then cards are dealt (reversing the order) into two piles. Based on the Gilbreath principle each pile will have a corresponding card in the other pile (i.e. -red to red, black to black).
@crashmagicАй бұрын
Yes self working, and summed up perfectly 👍

Nice performance and patter. Still, I think if you could figure out some kind of false count to 'show' all six faces and backs at the very beginning, the trick would be much more effective.

As we say in Persian, "𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱, 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 معما چون حل گشت آسان شود" Or in another form, "simple, but impossible", which is when you find yourself saying, 'why didn’t I think of that?' This card trick is a perfect example of that idea. The method is straightforward once you know it, 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆.Thank you for sharing this with such a clear explanation-well done on making it both easy to follow and impressive to watch!
