After losing the previous year 50-0 to USC, it was hard to believe what my eyes were seeing ! UCLA was up 24-0 at one point!

How are linemen expected to block with no pads to get.
@prevgoated3 жыл бұрын
Look at it like this. If a lineman can block well without pads imagine what he’s like in pads

Unfortunately Lonzo maxed out at 6’6 and Gelo maxed out at 6’5. Melo will most likely max out at 6’6-6’7

when I went to university in north America in 1987 I struggled to understand the game of American Football, then around the 3rd week of the season I saw a young man called Troy Aikman quaterback UCLA against Arizona State, his running back was injured during the game . I think he was called Gaston Greene....but then Troy Aikman took over , I still did not understand football but you could tell he was something special and I decided to learn more about the game...So I can credit Mr. Aikman with my love of football

When was UCLA at a prominent level?? the 1950"s?? I know Troy is old, but they sure the heck weren't prominent when he was there....shoot, he rode Emmitt Smith's coattails to those super bowls in the NFL!

The one area I wish UCLA and Dan Guerrero would address is creating a better strategy for better student involvement. Maybe make the tickets free to ALL students for the first 3 games of the season. First 3 games of the season, UCLA had an empty student section and had a 20 person band play music that could barely be heard over the yelling of the guys selling boxed pizza and frozen lemonade. I heard A&M fans say, "If Kyle Field's student section was this empty, we'd get rid of the football program. What an embarrassment." School starts 3 weeks into September and the band is nowhere to be seen, while A&M is gloating their humungous band over our field on national television. What can we do about this?
