Another suggestion that I might add which helps in addition to wet hair, is movie allowing the pomade to sit in your hair for 5-15 minutes and then combing it. It certainly depends on the pomade you're using, but I'm certain that this is the case with suavecito. I would suggest that once you put the pomade in your hair, you comb through it a few times to even it out, and then allow it to sit.

Hey man great review! I'm wondering if you would recommend this one or the dead sea clay to someone with a very thick, coarse and long hair ? my desired style is more of a textured/messy slicked back look, and not sure which one of these two products that would work best for my hair type and style, thanks in advance and cheers!

My boyfriend's hair lends itself perfectly to this style. It'll almost do that after a few hours of wearing a hard hat and it looks so good - especially with the grey bits, but on his day off, he looks like he peed on an electric fence. 😁 Anyways, if I can talk him into it, I'm gonna try this.

Great review as always! May i ask, since you got a haircut before the review, how do you get that immediate volume with the pick? We have very identical hair but i can't overcome the weight of it. Should i ask my barber to use hair thinning scissors or sth?
@wildharegrooming3728
@wildharegrooming3728 3 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the review mate! I wouldn't advise asking your barber to use thinning scissors. These should only really be used to remove weight and/or add texture. There's no trick or technique to how I get the immediate volume. All I can say it make sure you use enough product and comb it through thoroughly. Also, make sure you are combing your hair in the direction it wants to go, working with the natural flow. Wavy hair (like I have) it naturally volumous and wants to stand up so if you work with that you make life a lot easier. Find your crown and which way your hair spirals and work with that not against it.

I absolutely love this tutorial. I do have a question though... Did you blow dry your hair backwards prior to applying the pomade? Or did you just towel dry? I, too have thick wavy hair and have been blow drying it backwards. However, I’m noticing that the longer it gets, the more difficult it is becoming to style it. I’m not sure if the blow drying has to do with that.
@wildharegrooming3728
@wildharegrooming3728 3 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video mate! No blow dryer required here. I always apply to towel dryed hair. I find if I apply OB to dry hair I get no control as all my waves come out. Check out some of my other videos to see how I apply the pomade and subscribe to stay up to date with new videos 👍👍

I have been looking for a video on this new formula! It's funny you mentioned the problem with the pieces of wax in previous versions not melting all the way. One of my favorite products of flagship is their summer pomade gold edition, but the last 2 jars I received both had a bunch of wax crystals in them that make it almost unusable bc it looks like I have a bunch of sand in my hair. Hopefully they will figure it out soon
