Why do we like drama so much ? The issue here is that motorcycles only recently became a thing in botswana. Also they're mostly used by delivery drivers, so there's a possibility that cops just need to be updated about different types or motorists. Its very unusual to see a personal motorbike on the road. Also on the tea issue...clearly she's talking to someone else behind the motorist.

It's not Botswana's problem that they use uniform similar to The United Kingdom and you never traveled to learn that the Uniform is common to European countries and ours in South Africa is common to mining uniform

Before you all start talking ill of this Traffick officers, does anyone know the Botswana rules regarding driving a motorbike; as far as I know, he is supposed to drive with an escort, so he will be fine riding in a group. Are you aware that the learners' license of any category does not have a SADC emblem. As such, you cannot compel foreign authorities to acknowledge laws of another country. Full license is a different case as the license is valid throughout SADC and has a SADC emblem to confirm that. I have seen this attitude many times when SA drivers drive into Mozambique with a vehicle registration certificate which is not in their name, they attach an affidavit from the owner of the car confirming that they have given such a driver permission to drive the car across the border. As much as the Mozambican traffic police lets them through, they are not obliged to accept such an affidavit if it is not translated into Portuguese and authenticated by a Notary Public and the Master of the High Court.
